sunshinej -- Thanks for the clarification aboyut the Alice games. I don't know whether I'll participate in this sale. I bought 6 CEs in the "full prince, 2nd for $1.99" sale. Don't ask me why because i usually turn up my nose at the "CEs $7.99" sales. lol

Welcome back Anki! sounds like you had a lovely time.
I bought two games in the sale, both CEs, Ominous Objects and the new Sable Maze.
I am still playing HE Crown of Solomon. There is only one thing that is playing on my nerves and that is those stupid remarks when you click on things. I'd rather there be something informative or nothing at all.

I have finished absolutely nothing this month. I'm 2/3rds finished with Big Kahuna Reef 3. It's taking forever since I decided to play on timed and I usually forget that I have powerups I can use so I wind up playing the same board 5 times.
I love my iPad. I've been playing Mahjong Towers Touch and Awakening Kingdoms Free to Play on it. Sometimes, I forget that the laptop doesn't have a touch screen and I'm pounding on the game icons 4-5 times before I remember I need to use my mouse.

Where my van is parked now the internet is very intermitant. I'm playing Surface Soaring City CE. I don't really enjoy collecting the flowers, they're the same ones as in Midnight Castle. Wish I would have only gotten the SE. The game is a bit hard, adventure-wise. Several times I had the right item but hadn't thought to try it. Some close-ups also contain easy to miss inverntory items, and even the flowers. The HOs are few and far between and easy, but an interesting feature is that you use an inventory item on the interactive items. The puzzles have all been quite easy so far, a couple of them mind-numbingly so. For example, a drawer had 4 pointer knobs on it, and right above it, scratched into the wood, were arrows pointed 4 different ways. Gee, wonder which way I'm supposed to point them The story is very cinematic, there are a looooot of cutscenes, but there is the option to skip them and in your journal you can replay them. I like cut-scenes but I don't like the voice acting and the character keeps 'talking' long after the voice has stopped. Don't hate it, don't love it so far.

I might finish 2 games this month -- if I'm lucky.
I haven't played any of the SURFACE games even though I have most of them.

I just spent 90 mins typing up my full review of Warlock: The Curse of the Shaman by Quick Click Games while I watched Midsomer Murders. I typed up my recommendation when it was finished then hit Preview to check it before I posted it. And it disappeared. I just want to cry.
I can't face typing it up again right now so just let me say that I highly recommend the game, always as long as you like the demo, of course. It's puzzle heavy, with 44 puzzles/minigames versus 22 HOPs. You go back 3 generations, going to the time of your father, grandfather and great-grandfather to get rid of a curse. The gameplay consists of finding hotspots and, when you find one, a ring of needed objects circle the spot. You then go and find all the objects (which are now active in whatever scenes they're located), go back to the hotspot, and whatever needed to be done at that hotspot will automatically be done for you. 44 minigames are found throughout, most being very easy but a few are of medium difficulty and 3 are hard. There's no variation in this gameplay throughout the entire game and, even though it's not a difficult game, it isn't all that easy either, having to remember where all the things are you need to find and then, when you find an inventory item, which ring it was a part of.
There's one huge glitch in one scene, where there's a graphics problem and you can't see anything in the scene. For most this was a game ender but I simply used the Hint botton to complete the scene - to find a HOP and for every object in the HOP, as well as clicking on funny-looking graphic boxes - and for finding hotspots and for inventory use. You only have to do things twice in that scene and I had no further problems, although apparently some people also had a problem with a disappearing knife in the same scene.
It was a fun game that had me thinking and it was loooong - taking me about 7 hours, give or take. I can definitely recommend this game for anyone who likes the demo, as long as you don't mind working around the glitch.

I didn't get any thing in yesterday's sale as there was nothing I didn't already have.
I also didn't get anything in last weekend's sale as there was only one CE I wanted to get - Witches' Legacy: The Ties That Bind CE. The only other CEs that I don't have I want to get as SEs, but there are 2 I'm not yet sure about. But I haven't played the first 3 Witches' Legacy games so I can wait for a BOGOF to get the 4th one.
I did, however, get 2 SEs on Monday with expiring PCCs - Secrets of the Dark: The Flower of Shadows and Haunted Hotel: Ancient Bane.

Wendy, I'm so sorry you have so little internet access but at least you have it intermittently and are able to play some games. And thank heavens you all seem to help each other out when needed!
Are you having a good season this year? I certainly hope you are and are bringing in some good money!

No, Sunshine, I won't be entering as I already have the CE.
