Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm considering CLUTTER 2:  HE SAID SHE SAID done.  In the first game you could play in different "modes" or something -- there were 5 numbers at the top of the screen.  After I finished all the sites in # 1 I went back and played through the others.  I saw that in this game but couldn't get there when I'd finished.  It just restarted the game.  I'm not too upset -- it seemed as though I'd been playing this game forever!

I was saving NORTHERN TALE 3 (one of my desseret games  ) but when i saw # 4 I stated # 3.  I'm loving it!  They've changed a few things so far so it's interesting.  I've only finished 8 levels and I've already had to replay one because I got totally stuck!.  I ran out of resources.   And, of course, I'm playing untimed!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Should anyone be interested, I've just copied by beta review of the latest CE - Spirit of Revenge: Cursed Castle CE - from the beta review thread over to my demo review thread.

I haven't yet demoed the newest, released version but thought someone might be interested in getting it in the sale tomorrow and might like to see what I thought of the beta.

I started Final Cut Homage CE tonight.  As with all the Final Cut games (that I can remember) it is a fun one!

Lily, this weekend's 60% sale that should also be available tomorrow, if it's as per normal.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Hello all, I have been MIA for awhile with some ups & downs.  The most horrible down was I lost my sweet little buddy on July 17th.  My beautiful 12 year old sheltie.  He was such a sweet and gentle dog and I'm still missing him every day. He was my little buddy and would follow me all over the house.   I'll try to find a good picture of him and post it here.

My husband had a week off work and we did some touristy things near where I live and we went to Cleveland, Ohio with my son & DiL.  I am used to small town traffic and whenever we go to Cleveland on the highway it scares me silly.  Everyone is going so fast  10-15 miles over speed limit and constantly cars are pulling in front of you with just inches to spare.  I can't even look and don't, but my husband loves to drive through it.  We visited the Christmas Story house in Cleveland.  That movie is a staple around here for the holidays and I always wanted to go see the house, so I talked him into going.  We visited the botanical gardens there in Cleveland and it was one of the best ones we have ever seen.  Really a big place and beautiful. They also had sculptures there built out of legos for the summer which was really neat to see. Also we saw the Greater Cleveland Aquarium which was fun.  They had a shark tunnel there (sand Sharks)  which you walk through.  I think that was my favorite part.

I am slowly getting back into gaming.  I quit for awhile partly because i missed my dog standing next to my chair while I was playing.  I would pet him with my one hand and play the game with the other. Also, my wrist on my gaming hand started hurting and it was awkward using the opposite hand.  Once I bought a brace for it and starting icing it, it is starting to feel stonger.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

My condolences Sunshine on losing your sweet fella.

I always thought the whole movie was shot in Toronto, so I've learned something new today!  I watch that movie every year too.

I hope you aren't developing carpal tunnel.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

So sorry to hear about your dog, Sushine.

My air conditioner stopped working and it was 86 F inside the house.  DH came home from work and got it going again but it will take a while to cool the place down.  I'm hoping the a/c makes it through the summer and this winter we'll look into replacing it..

Played a few more levels of Big Kahuna Reef 3, and some Mahjong Towers on my iPad, but mostly I've been playing my free to play games.  Playing Awakening Kingdoms on the iPad is much easier than I thought it would be.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Sunshine, I'm so sorry about your baby.  Theres a few spots I play by rivers, me and the dogs used to spend lots of time splashing around.  This year I haven't really gone to the river cause it makes me miss my guys too much, makes me all weepy.  I know they're having fun with Daddy, though, he'll throw a toy for 30 minutes straight.  Are you thinking about getting a new puppy?  They don't replace the ones we lose, but they sure do bring a lot of joy and  happiness back into the house (once you get past the housebreaking stage).

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.
