Thanks, lily.  I started selling off all the loot.  Listed 100 items last night (and did that take some time) and sold 83 of them.  Tonight I'll list another 100 or so.  I really want to get everything sold before there's an update and the auction dq's are a thing of the past.

I'm finishing up getting the paintings on one game.  I'm on the botany building now.  I despise that game.  I did the lower levels before work, now I have to do 8 and 10, but if memory serves, I think those are easier than the lower numbered ones.  I did a few runs through the junkyard.  No evening gown but I did get 2 Golden Hibiscus's, they're pretty hard to get, too.  Tried for an orbital base in Washington Library but no luck there, either.

I'm at a sort of standstill in my new ART game.  Everything needs to be fixed up but I have no paint.  I used the last of it on the Post Office and right after that the request to fix the auction house came in, and that one needs 10 cans.  Unfortunately, even though almost all of the HO scenes list paint, I can never manage to get any.  I just got done playing 4 scenes and not a single can of paint.  How am I going to get 10 cans?  And since it's still in the beginning of the game there's only logs, bricks, paint, and one resource listed.  So how can I manage to not get paint?

OMG, I used all my energy, ate food so I could level up and play some more, used that energy and finally managed to scrape together 10 cans of paint.  Turns out I mixed up buildings.  The auction house needs 24 cans of paint  I'm up to 12.   And of course they're the most expensive resource in the shop, 3 gold apiece.  I would have maybe used 5 or 10 gold to buy them, just to get to the auction, but I'm not using 36 gold.  My other quests are the fountain, which is ridiculously expensive, upgrading the Antique Shop, and getting some envelopes for Phillip.  I have most of the envelopes, just need a couple more.  I'm not upgrading any other building before the Auction because that's where I'm going to get more paint.  I should be able to fill the platinum collection pretty cheaply, IIRC that's the men's clothing.  Otherwise I can buy some cookie jars.
I accepted a friend request and we got chatting a bit.  She's level 28 but she told me I'm her first friend.  One of the early quests is to add a friend.  How did she get to level 28 without doing that one?  Weird, huh?  I don't think she's lying because she said she got the reward for sending 3 messages while we were chatting.  It's just strange that a person would ignore that quest for so long.  Maybe she never built the Post Office, although so has the auction  house.  Just weird.
