Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I played Treasure Vault, got 3 of the jewel boxes and found the relic.  Still need more 3 more jewel boxes.  Had a quest to play Raphael's mini games and I even had all the paint brushes in my inventory so I finished 2 quests last night.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Well wouldn't you know it!  I play Gobholme and get the portraits you wanted, Tirama.  Nary a Brave Goblins book to be found though.  And that's what I want.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I finally got enough pink moonflowers to send Fahleel on his merry way.  I still need to get 2 more royal jewel boxes for the Peddlar, and I don't remember how many teas for another quest.  Just got a quest to find the relic in Apricus Plaza, that will be the next thing I work on.

I haven't been back to Gobholme but I imagine when I do return. I'll get lots of portraits.   How many of those books are needed?  Maybe I should try to get them before I get that quest.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I don't remember how many books were needed.  I'm just trying to get 10 of everything in my collections.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I only played Apricus Plaza once last night.  Got the relic and now I'm waiting for my energy bar to fill up so I can play for a longer period of time.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I was just going to pay one HO scene to trigger the daily reward, so I played Gnome Village to see if I could get any tea.  Wound up playing 6 times and got 6 teas.  So that's another older quest done.

Congrats Tirama!  Both for the relic and the tea.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Thanks, lily.  It feels really good not to see all those old quests still sitting there.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I'm not to the tea quest but I''ve been trying to collect some in advance.  I got one before the update, not I get one almost every time.  Boomzap goes from one extreme to the other.  I don't mind if things are a little hard to get, just so they're not impossible.  I think it's more exciting if you don't get what you need every time.  Now they made it a bit too easy.  I am still having a bit of trouble with the Brave Goblin books, though.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I didn't update the game yet.  The blurb says there's new collectibles and I'm worried that changing the mix will mean that the things I need won't drop as easily.  After going through a long period of time with drop rates of 1/20 or in the case of those portraits, none no matter hiw much I played, I figure this game owes me a period of ask and you shall receive.

Yesterday, I had 3 quests wanting me to go to the treasure vault, one to find a relic, one to open a mini scene, and I still needed 2 jewel boxes, so it seemed a good scene to play.  Got the relic first try.

Then I got a quest from Capt Greg.   He wanted to go to the Treasure Vault, and since I still needed a jewel box for the peddlar, off we went.  Obviously the Capt must have distracted me, because no jewel box.  Then he wanted to talk to various people about translating the enscription.  Gotta wonder about Capt Greg.  Did he really think Old Man Seth would be of any help?  I knew it would be Fahleed we'd have to go to.

So back we go to the Treasure Vault.  Got the jewel box for the peddlar.  Oh course, Fahleed can't read the inscription unless I fork over a bunch of story books.  Blessilda showed up wanted 12 teas along with some other crap.  Triffledore wants me to go find some sort of coral. Quinn expects me to feed the animals in the squabbit den.   And Greg wants to go looking for some knight's will that is hidden in his armour.  Among the places he suggests looking is, you guessed it, the Treasure Vault.  Um, Greg, I've got a better idea.  Let's take some treasure and leave town before Chumblepots, the Mayor, Gavin, and who knows who else show up and dump more chores on me.
