I'm currently playing Family Tales The Sisters. A pretty good game imo.  Its different and does not have your run of the mill puzzles.  I do find the text a little shaky looking but I got used to it.  A good story.  There is no map but the back tracking, what there is of it is quick.  it has some shape HO scenes which I generally don't care for but in this game I don't mind them.  I've found the majority of the puzzles so far interesting and the shape HO scenes are all interactive.

I think I posted awhile ago that I loved this game.    It didn't get very good reviews and only 3.3 stars but it was very challenging with no map and not very clear instructions for the minigames, and no help for the higher difficulty modes.  And, as one reviewer said, the HOSs were a "blast".    Thus I loved it and it's one of my fav games.

Stuesue, sending lots of prayers for you and your family

Thanks, Anki  You have no idea how much everyone's kind words and prayers help.    My mum can certainly use all the help she can get right now.

Like usual this summer I´ve been working like crazy. On top of that I´ve got borrelia from a tick!
Luckily my hubby persuaded me to go to the hospital (I didn´t think it was necessary!). I got penicillin so I´m going to be fine, but have some side effects like feeling sick all the time. Not fun when I´m at work .
On the positive side I´m healthy in time for the vacation (I take my last pills on the day of departure)

I'm so sorry you've been working so hard!    And especially in summer with the great weather!

Borrelia must be what the tick I had was tested for, to know whether I needed antibiotis or not.  But it cost me 40 euro for it to be tested!    At least I knew that it was okay.  Poor you, especially feeling so sick when you have to work.    Lucky you should be okay when you go away so you can enjoy yourself.

Like Stuesue I fell in love with that voice

Anki, I'd forgotten all about that voice.   ** swoon **      It sure was gorgeously deep.     I can't believe you remembered what I posted so long ago!

To me, the cake is the most important part, Stusue.  We were moving this year for my birthday, the guys went out and got me some Reeses Peanut Butter cups and stuck a candle in one, so it was something, at least.
Anki, I totally freak out if I find a tick on me.  We used to play a spot that was crawling with them, had to inspect your body every night, but we didn't play there this year.
I started Tulula Legend of the Volcano.  It's basically a circle/ring game, put the pieces in the circle to make the object, but the things you need to find are all blurry.  When you get one thing done  new things are sometimes magically added to the scene for the next thing you have to find.  It's a real 'move your cursor back and forth, back and forth' kind of game and I"m not really liking it too much so far.  The reviews said you had to keep playing for awhile before it got better so I'll give it another go tonight and hope.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Hey, guys, I obviously haven't demoed anything in a while and with this weekend's BOGOF I have no idea what CEs could be considered.  Anyone have any CEs they're looking at getting?

Wendy, my sister's youngest son dropped by with a b'day cake for her b'day before she came over here this morning - a yummy scrumptious chocolate mousse cake with yummo chocolate cream on top with chocolate swirls on top of that and heaps of marashino cherries.  Mmmmmmm...     Mum didn't have any candles but she had one really big candle sitting on a saucer and I lit that and carried it in so that my sis could blow it out and make a wish.

I wouldn't have minded a Reeses Peanut Butter Cup as a b'day cake - but one of the sugar-free ones.  A friend of mine in Florida sent me a big box of sugar-free candies like that and they were my favs.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

stusue - I'm probably just going to use one of my CS CE coupns to get 1 CE on Monday.  The 4 punches will complete a card.   Mostly likely will get Dead Reckoning: Silvermoon Isle

I finished Fill and Cross Pirate Riddles.  Not one of the better nonogram puzzle games around.  Too many board needed hints and/or guessing.  And the ta-da! music when you finished each board was the same as in Inspector Parker, which I thought was odd.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm thinking about getting Dreampath Two Kingdoms and Nevertales, that will use my two credits.  But leaves me with a dangling punch if I wait for Monday.  Plus I have a pcc to use.  I probably have 30 undemo'd games in my gm. really i shouldn't get anything until my unplayed list reduces, but....

And I did buy Manor Memoirs from Playrix direct.

Has any one played or demod this weeks CEs?
