Re: Awakening Kingdoms

OMG!! I haven't played too much of it but I'm loving the new update!  The two big glitches from the last update have been fixed.  The down-side (if there is one) is that there are FIND quests.  Even though you might have hundreds of whatever in your inventory you have to go and FIND them to satisfy the quest.  And Raphael is back so I'm expecting him to start asking for heaps of bolgins any minute.

I really shouldn't be devoting hours to the game today but I'm sure I'm not going to be able to be that strong!

But has the drop rates been improved?  I feel I'll never catch up.  I'm finally getting pink moonflowers at the rate of 1 for every 2 times I play, so I'm very reluctant to download an update.

I can understand why BoomZap added the FIND quests.  I wonder why people consider them a down side.  Would people prefer to just hand inventory items over and then have no quests to do and then sit around and complain about having nothing to do?

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I'm not feeling much love for the game anymore.  I need a zillion dew thingees for the 50 mini-games it wants me to play and they don't drop very easily.  I need compasses to exchange traveler's collections and Djinn of times and I've been trying to get the impossible to get tea that I know will be needed soon.  There just isn't any fun in it anymore for me.  I basically just check in, give away keys (or is that ART?), maybe play a couple of scenes, maybe not.  I'm just so sick of the same scenes over and over and over, here and in ART.  It's so addicting, though, very hard to stop.  Maybe I should start over again, I could move all my money and gold to one player, then start over and get it back.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Tirama and Wendy -- I think the driop rates have improved but I'm not sure.  I had to FIND 2 compasses and it didn't take very many plays -- maybe 3.  I'm also getting more pink moon flowers and tea!  And neither of those have been needed for quests.

Wendy -- I've got Djinns of Time .  The dew nectar things can be bought but I'm not sure if you need crystals or just money.  I had to play Rosetum for a couple of quests and I got a decent number of dew nectars (or whatever they're called).  I was getting pretty bored too but I'mm loving this update.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Okay, maybe tonight I'll update AK.  As for ART, all I do is hand out keys, the DQ, and work onmy own personal aution challenge.  I get enough repetition of HO scenes from MC.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

DO NOT UPDATE JUST YET.  I was just reading the AK forum on BFG.  Some people who installed the new update lost Yura's Quest and  others lost Leodici's Quest.

From what I've read it was people who were playing these quests when they installed the new update.  If you've completed the quests, no problem.  I'm not sure what happens if you haven't started them yet

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I've updated and played Gobholme.  Got all excited when I got a portrait the first time.  Next two times I played, no portrait.  Maybe MY game only gives one portrait an update.  Guess I'll go back to trying for pink moonflowers tonight.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Boomzap (and other players) have confirmed that the drop rate has increased.  Maybe the portraits only drop in a certain mode?

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

There's another update from Boomzap that fixes the "disappearing" Yura's quests and Leodici's quests.  Boomzap also confirmed that, if you download the new(er) update that you will get these quests if you haven't played them as yet.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I downloaded again, and played Gobhome and glory be!  I finally got enough portraits to send Raphael packing.

But he came back wanting a lot of tarot cards, 2 quests worth, but I had them so he's gone for a while.   Then played Ancient Pond 3 times before I could get the relic to drop.

Quinn showed up wanting to go to Treasure Vault for another relic.  I'll play that next when I get some energy and hope I get the relic and and some royal jewel boxes.  I'm very close to leveling up, maybe if I do I'll have enough energy to get the rest of the pink moonflowers I need.  I'm so tired of looking at the same quests.
