Has anyone tried THE OTHER SIDE, TGT? It's an SE that has some extras. The reviews say it's dark and funny and has some new type play but no jump map and almost no map to speak of. One reviewer has completed it and said it took 4.5 hours. I'm tempted but wouldn't get it until BPM. I guess i should try the demo. stuesue -- don't do it just because of this post. You've got plenty to do to get ready for your trip!

I've just finished Dreampath: The Two Kingdoms - SE not CE - and wow, what a game! 6 hours of fun, fun, fun with minigames that ranged from easy peasy to and some challenging HOPs.
You start by opening locations one by one on the map and flying to each one (on a dragon) once it's been opened and then back again to open the next one. And, as each location only has a few scenes, it's fairly easy to remember where you need an inventory item when you find it. But then you start flying between the locations, finding an inventory item in one location that you'd needed 4 locations ago!
I don't like it when that happens as I have to then rely on the map or hint to work out where that rotten whatever it was that needed the inventory item I just found was. In this case, you have to remember not only the scene but also the location. Luckily the World Map showed which location (or locations) had active areas in the middle of 3 difficulty modes. Not sure if the map showed you which location you had to go to in the hardest difficulty level. If it didn't, you'd either be tiring your poor little dragon out flying from location to location until you found the correct one, taking copious notes, or have a fantastic memory!
My Rating: I loved playing this game!
My Recomendation: I recommend this game wholeheartedly!

Lily, I haven't tried it yet but I looked at some of the early reviews and they all seemed to love it. I will hopefully find the time to demo it tomorrow - except I'm even busier tomorrow than today so I may not find the time. However, as it's due to be released by GameHouse very soon I'll be playing it there so there's no hurry for me to check it out. Thanks for thinking of me. But, as I have to take things as easy as I can with so much to do, I play games in between doing everything.
I tried a few minutes of today's new game at GameHouse - Evil Pumpkin: The Lost Halloween PE - and it sure is a strange game! A CE by the makers of The Dreamatorium of Dr Magus, which I only played recently, but this one is definitely unique and it looks like fun. However, I couldn't find any sort of SG and also couldn't find any sort of bonus game so I doubt BFG will offer it as a CE. It does have heaps of collectibles, though - all different sorts of candy that you find everywhere - with which you purchase things for your garden. However, it's a Halloween game - in July? - and so it's all skeletons, etc, that you buy. But all the other extras are also weird. Some of the usual things, like videos and music, but other stuff is just weird. It's just weird, especially as the little boy talks to you all the time. Weird, weird, weird, but it sure looks like fun!
Okay, for me now before my head hits the keyboard and I wake up with letters imprinted on my face.

stusue -- Since THE OTHER SIDE is an SE and I only get those with PCCs I can wait. I'll look at EVIL PUMPKIN when we get it too. Oh boy. DREAMPATH sounds good but, even with the map, it sounds confusing. I guess that one will be staying in the "to be played" pile. Oh heck. Let's be honest. It's not a pile, it's a warehouse!

For those who are interested in Nightfall, the ERS free to play game, there's been an update that is supposed to correct some bugs.
I intended to start anotehr game today, but we had thunderstorms and then I had to go to the dentist. Maybe tomorrow will be better.
I need to find 4 games to get with my pcc's next Monday. Any recomendations? I was really hoping the Gardenscape-type game would make it to BF by then, but unless we get some soft releases in the next 4 days, the only new games will be CE's and SE verions of CE's.

TGT THE OTHER SIDE might interest you. It's an SE but it has extras. I'm hoping MEMORY MANOR (or whatever it's called) makes it too. It might make it by Monday.

Thanks stusue - That game has been on my to play list for a while. I have the CE for it. Will definitely be playing it soon. I want to get Saturday's game NeverTales 2, according to Jessica on BFG Facebook page. Was hoping it would be today's game but it wasn't. Today's game doesn't look interesting at all. I'll be playing Dreampath right after NeverTales.
I have been playing Royal Envoy 3 CE lately. On a level that I'm having a bit of trouble getting 3 stars on. I'm stubborn and won't go on until I have all 3 stars.
Our back porch/patio is still not done. They didn't work all last week and won't this week. They said they'd be here all next week to finish it up but I'm not holding my breath. The worst part is that we have to call them to find anything out. They never call us to tell us things. Such as if they are going to show up. They just show up if they do and if they don't, they don't. This company has the worst communication skills I've ever seen. It's ridiculous. I don't know why my dad won't complain but he won't for some reason.

As a professional Downloader for Discounts who loves Juggling the Coupons, I thought I'd let you know what I did today.
Zylom Games keeps on sending me discount coupons or you can play little games, like spin the wheel, to get discounts. Well, the current one is a 90% discount (spin the wheel) so today I checked out their current games on sale and got Marooned for 30 cents and Jewel of Atlantis for 50 cents. What a pity none of their other sale games interested me - either I've already played them, already own them, or don't want to play them.

I haven't yet demoed today's TGT although I have downloaded it. I was out most of the day - vampires, shopping, hairdresser - and I got a beta for the next Revived Legends game. I didn't finish the beta as I was getting sicker and sicker as I was playing but I'll try to finish it over the weekend. I have a friend staying overnight tomorrow night - she turned Sweet 16 yesterday, I lived with her family the first year I was here in Germany - so I'm not sure if I'll be able to finish it tomorrow.
Misscatlady, I can't believe they're stuffing you around like they are and not getting your porch built asap! Builders! Grrrrrrrr...
Good luck with Royal Envoy 3! I hope you've already got your 3 stars on that level! I hope you have as much fun playing Dreampath as I did, especially as you have the CE!
I demoed the new 12 Labours of Hercules II: The Cretan Bull today. It's just like the first one, which I have, which I've actually finished, and which I loved! It's definitely on my list of games to get! It was released by GameHouse today, so should be at BFG soon.

misscatlady -- I'm looking forweard to NEVERTALES 2 also. So sorry the company doing your porch & patio is such a bunch of slackers. Hope you didn't pay the full amount up front. Do you have a contract? Probably not; those are usually just for commercial builds. When it does get done I'd send a scathing note to the Better Business Bueau and maybe even Angie's List.
stusue -- You never cease to amaze! Congrats on the 2 games!! 30 cents? Wow!
