Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

sooo I havent really finished that many games lol I have been preoccupied obviously and busy since the wedding. Apparently visa paperwork just never ends...there seems to be more and more and then its the last right? Oh wait, we need to do even more things and pay more fees. ARGH! but I digress...

Now that I have a laptop pc...I have been playing some FTP games like Antique Road Trip, Awakening Kingdoms. I have no idea my code, but I'll add you guys if you play it. I also got a beta for Dark Realm Queen of the Flame by MAD HEAD GAMES, my favorite. I thought the name was corny but I really liked the game. It was about dragons but done extremely well and I can say this because I am not real fond of dragon games but this one kept my attention the whole time. There were lots of puzzles that I found so unique and the hidden object scenes weren't the normal ones we always see and although some were like mad head's signature ones like a part of an item behind the hidden item, there were others that blew my mind. AND there were many, many action scenes! really kept the storyline great and kept me on edge! A must have game for sure.

I didn't get anything in the BOGOF, I couldn't justify it when I have sooo many Im not even playing now and most of the ones I want are sequels to other ones I haven't played yet so I got only 1 SE, well 2 since its BOGOF lol I got the pc games gardens inc-from rakes to riches & gardens inc 2 the road to fame. and let me tell you I am a gardens inc JUNKIE! LOVE these games. Its a tm builder but with more goals then just normal ones.I love figuring out what each flower the customer wants and how they want it! I am one happy person LOL

Oh & btw, my dog tessa is completely out of her cast, almost all her fur has grown back in and she only needs a cone at night but I got her a soft one so she's happy. We are all so glad she is okay once again. I check in later hopefully xx

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

meg - in the free to play games, if you click on your avatar, you'll see your friend or social code.  It will probably be easier for you to list your codes than for all of us to list ours.

I've finished Fantasy Mosaics 2.  There are 100 boards and only 1 of them required using a hint or an educated guess.  It was in the first group of 5, so probably was deliberately ambiguous as part of the tutorial for using hints.

I'm going to play Myths of the World: Chinese Healer Collector's Edition next.  It's one of 4 unplayed CE's purchased last year.

I'm glad tessa is doing well.  I play both AK & ART and I'd be happy to add you if you give us your code.

I started BLUEBEARD'S CASTLE but not liking it it.  Too dark and too BLUE!! I'll finish the first chapter before I decide.  I really, really want a fun, easy, short bright, happy HOPA!  I know there are some lurking in my Purchase History somewhere.

Nice to see you Meg!

I am playing Paradise, but in between I started Dark Dimensions Sober Song which I am really enjoying.  So far the puzzles have been very interactive and the graphics are beautiful.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Hi All,

I seem to be one of the only people who LOVED and I mean LOVED Bluebeard's Castle. I've replayed it recently and I rarely replay my games. Also, one of the major reasons I chose to upgrade my computer to a higher operating system was that when the 2nd one came out, it was not compatible with mine! I was overdo anyways but it was a sequel that stopped my procrastinating lol I just love the game mechanics and well that tree that moves with the apples, I found that delightful.

I will get my game codes whenever both those games let me connect to it again. I suspect its my crappy internet at work. It works fine with all my mac products but it hates this laptop pc and rarely connects in my room. I do have a weaker signal back there but when I want to dl games I have to bring it out near the main one. My moms mac laptop works back here so Im puzzled. Oh well.

I am playing Gardens Inc 2 The road to fame....I am not sure what order these things go in but this one was downloaded first so I started it and I LOVE it. Anyways I need to go buy the PC DD because its on my list of games i want. I saw on gamehouse they have a double pack with that and some sister secrecy game but I didn't care for the sister one. Shucks! Some of those are really good deals, same with legacy games. I hope I can contain my will to buy lol xx

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

There's another new free to play game, not officially out yet, by ERS, called Nightfall: An Edgar Allen Poe Mystery.  Anybody want to try it?

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Meg...Nice to see that you are back.  I am also doing Gardens, Inc 2: The Road to Fame.  I am skipping over the story, but am enjoying doing up the gardens.  I love the little guy who waters up the plants.

I saw you and lilyr in today's forums.  Was able to leave a comment before it got locked.  Gameswolf should learn what real spam is.  There are tons of it in the older game forums which I bring to the attention to the mods from time to time.

I also played the first Bluebeard's Castle and I remembered that I liked it.  Lilyr, I agree about all the blue and I call it Blueberry Castle.  I might have found a light hopa game for you  Antique Mysteries: Secrets of Howard's Mansion or Emma and the Inventor if you haven't  already tried those ones yet.

Tirama...Very much thanks for telling us about the new F2P by ERS.  Looking forward to trying it out.

I finished Tiger Eye Part 1: Secrets of the Riddle Box and really, really liked it.  Saw that I also had Tiger Eye: The Sacrifice and going to play that one next.

Has anyone tried Fright yet?  I was planning on getting the CE and totally missed the 4th of July sale.  Rats.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Thanks for the heads up Tirama.  I'll try it.

sunshinej -- I think the person who was accused of spamming was providing a much-needed service!  After BFG shut down Cork the "official MOD post" wouldn't show up until 8 or 9 AM BFG time.  This way there weren't 4 or 5 review threads all over the place.  Thank you for the suggestions.  I think I played HOWARD'S MANSION.  I looked at EMMA but the reviews said it was pretty long.  Right now I'm playing VACATION ADVENTURE 2 snd quite enjoying it!  TE 2 is not TE 1.  Just saying.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

lilyr...I know, when  have the review and tech threads ever been considered spam. Seems daft to me as why gameswolf wanted to make a big deal out of pondprowler opening them up daily.

Actually Emma and the Inventor is really a short game 2 1/2 to 3 hours, but I see that you already found a game that you are enjoying.  Game on!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Darn it!  I had typed a reply but I don't see it here.  Tirama -- I'll give that F2P a look.

sunshinej -- I have played HOWARD'S MANSION  but i couldn' for the life of me tell you anything about it!   EMMA looked interesting to me but the reviews said it was long.  I'll keep it in mind.  I wouldn't exactly say I',m enjoying VACATION ADVENTURE.  I had to do the Museum at least 3 times to find that stupid bird!  And , of course, then I had to do the "rotate the blocks" puzzle that many times too.  Maybe it's just me but I'm finding the trash harder to find this time.  Still looking for that elusive iHOPA!
