Vet called back. The cancer spread to her spine causing her to have no motor capabilities in her back legs. So, we are going to put her to sleep at 5:30pm est.

I am sorry misscat. I lost two of my guys to cancer spreading to the spine. You are doing the best most responsible thing for her even though it is an excruciating decision. The only bit of advice I can give you is don't second guess your decision. It is the honourable, responsible and loving thing to do for her. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I first encountered the Rainbow Bridge in CCC at BFG. There was a lovely poem and a wonderful drawing by Cherbtoo. I hope that knowing lexi is at peace and over the Rainbow Bridge will help.

I'm so sorry, Misscatlady. I'm sitting here crying, and she isn't even mine and I've never met her. It's been a bummer week for me without my dogs, but they're alive and having fun with Daddy so it's alright, but you losing Lexi is hitting me real hard. I feel so bad for you.
No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.
