Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I've just posted a demo review of today's TGT - Chronicle Keepers: The Dreaming Gardens - in my demo review thread.  I really liked it and it's on my list of SEs to get.

It's a thumbs up and definite recommendation from me.  I just have no idea how long it is, which would be the only thing to dissuade me from getting it.    However, given that the demo is for 90 mins - even for an SE! - I don't think it can be too short as, although I was taking notes the whole time, I didn't seem to get very far in the demo.  It says that there are "multiple worlds" and I'd only gotten into one book.

And, Oscar, yes, you need to do the tutorial to see how the medallion works.  I didn't, as usual, and got to a zoom-in window and couldn't do anything.  I eventually worked out that you had to use the medallion.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Happy to here Lexi is feeling better.
I've been missing my dogs like crazy this week because it's swimming hole week.  Kelso loves to swim, he'll go out to the current and just swim upstream in it(staying in place, basically) just to swim.  And when people jumped off the rope swing he went crazy with happiness, barking at them and swimming around them.  I end up crying every day cause of missing them.  They're better off with daddy right now, though.
I'm still working on  Dark Cases Blood Ruby but it's slow going, not much time after work and it's really hot so the days are spent by the river.  I was liking it but now I'm kinda lost cause I've been playing it off and on since last week.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Heard back from CS regarding the 60% off coupon.  Sent me a coupon allowing me to get a CE for 2.99.  That's almost 80% off, so I'm happy.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

stusue -- CHRONICLE KEEPERS looks intriguing but I'm reluctant to get it because of no walkthrough. Besides I sure have enough games to play!

aww Wendy -- so sorry you miss your dogs so much.  But it's totally understandable.  And I think you're right -- they are better off at home.  I was trying to figure out what to play next.  I didn't want anything too involved so I'm doing an OLD Hidden Mysteries.  Those are fairly easy since you have the map for the rooms.  Also you don't really get lost or forget things if you don't play them every day.  I think I'll be spending a lot of time playing ART starting tomorrow.

Tirama -- Congrats on the coupon!  And as you said about the Achievements in MAGIC PARK they annoyed the heck out of me!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I just got the 60% off coupon for Midnight Castle download.  Rats, I would have liked the other kind.  I'll cash it in sometime this fall probably., some month when I'm a member again.  I think I'll be able to play Blood Ruby for an hour or two tonight.  I've spent the last hour and a half trying to get some books downloaded onto my new tablet, I figure I'll use it for reading, solitaire, and a few games.  I have Farm Up and Township downloaded, and Fairway Solitaire.

If you'd rather have a free SE game coupon instead of a 60% off either an SE or CE, let me know and I'll trade you.  I still have some customer service coupons and if you're a member and use them on a Monday, you'll get 2 punches.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Lexi is back to not doing so good. While she is eating, she is refusing to get up to walk or even sit up. She won't even get up to go to the bathroom. She'll just go while she is laying down pee and poop. We have an appointment today at 1pm est to have the vet check her out. Depending on what the vet says, we may have to put her down today.

Misscatlady, I'm so, so sorry.  I hope you get some good news at the vet's later.  I'll be thinking of you.  Poor Lexi.

I am so very, very sorry MISSCATLADY.  I'll be thinking of al of you.  Poor lexi!  I'll be saying a prayer that the Vet can come up with something and if not that you can be strong and do what's right for lexi.  {{{HUGS}}} to you all.
