Wendy - you have to upgrade the building next to the auction house and enter it to learn about the keys.  Each upgrade allows you to request keys for better chests.  You can see how many keys you've received by clicking on the gifts icon on the left.

My weekly preset for showing up was more mini game resources.  I really wanted the gold bars - I don't think I've ever received that.

My DQ is the nightgown.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Tirama, have you finished with your nightgown DQ?  Mine today is for the Purple Heart and they are all going for lots of coins and over a day or more, none for 1 hour.  I've also seen that the nightgowns are going for more than a day I think.

Would you like to do the same strategy as before?  I'll put up the nightgown for 100000 bid and buy it back from you for same, 1 hour, and you put up purple heart for same.  I'll wait to hear from you before proceeding.

Okay.  I'll go list Purple Heart for 100,000 and buyout of 1 million.  I'll be looking for your listing.

I was able to win nightgown for 205 coins.   Now I'm off to the Castle.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Tirama, I've already bid on your Purple Heart.  Since you have won the nightgown, does that mean you would like the purple heart back for 100,000 because obviously you won't bid on my nightgown, so I should get it back?

Have you tried Agency 33 F2P?  it is by EleFun and graphics are as good as MC.  You might like it because gameplay is more complicated with lots of crafting involved.  Not an easy F2P but it has lots of locations, lovely graphics in them, unfortunately energy does go pretty quickly but you get more from finishing HOS.  The latest update makes it possible, in future, to have friends, gifts, messages, and more.  Right now we don't have code numbers.

Since my AK was all wiped out, I don't miss it much because I replaced it with A33.  So I play MC, ART and A33.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Yes, put the Purple Heart up for 100,000 buyout.

I haven't tried Agency 33.  I'm waiting for the MCF free to play game, need to save time for that one.

I had ANOTHER person outbid me on an item and when I looked, there were still 6 of the same thing one right after another with no bids.  Why do people do that?  Person lived up to their name:  MEANIEMARY.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Come on, people.  Pick up your gifts so I can send you some keys.

Why is it that the people who sent me keys never have the bouncing ! when I go to return the favor?

I was finally able to get the collectibles from the mini games needing 8 and 10 threads.  I still have to find the bottom row of paintings, and I'm missing the 3rd one on the top row.  There was a glitch, and after I aseembled the music box, I never got a clue or quest.  I'm hoping to finish off the paintings tonight.  Are there any more quests after the paintings?

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

The only one I had problems with was the Beechwood Cup Medal.  Just hoping there's no quest for the London Bridge or Blue & White Plate.  If there is, I'm skipping it.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

There are no more quests after you have obtained all 14 paintings, except for the DQ.  You don't have to skip any quests if you don't want to, I can supply the Blue and White Plate or London Bridge.  Just let me know when you get the quest....unless you want to skip it.
