Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

My DQ was for a Brave's Companion.  You can bet they are all being sold at ridiculous prices so I am not going to bother with this one.

I've already got all my 14 paintings in the museum.  Now I'm wondering what the Independence Day quests will be.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I just checked.  There's some out there for 15,000 - 20,000 which is below what people were able to sell them for in the days before auction dq's.  If you already have one, put it up for auction for 100,000.  I'll buy it then auction it back at the same price so you can complete the DQ.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Sorry, I've been out the whole day, just got back and saw this post.  So I put it up for buyout 100,000, then you auction it for bid price 100,000 and buyout price a fantastical amount?  you don't think anyone would bid above 100,000 ?   Okay, I'll try it now and hope you see it.

If anybody pays more I'll split the proits with you.  The buyouy is 1,000,000.  If anybody goes for it, I'll faint.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Thank you so much for your help, Tirama.   Actually, if someone bids higher than the bid price, it's a win win situation for both of us, more so for me because I would have profited from you and you would still get your money back but from someone else...haha....no splitting of profits because you have earned it and I am out nothing except I don't complete the DQ ....but highly unlikely someone else will bid against me.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I am having no luck whatsoever getting the collectibles from Teodi's, except for the one in 3 threads.  DO I need to hav a certain number of trophies?  If so, I'm going to have to cash in some collections and play those mini games a lot.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

barregar -- If you need a Brave's Companion and don't get Tirama's let me know.

Tirama -- I have extras of most all of the collectible bits.  If you tell me which bits you need I can probably put them up for you.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

lilyr - I managed to get the Brave's Companion from Tirama and finished my DQ.

Tirama - it is puzzling why you can't get the other collectibles in Teodi's....sorry about that.  I don't think it is triggered by the trophies.  I'm like lilyr, collecting more of all the new collectibles from all the buildings but I really dislike doing the ones in the Botanical Garden!! they are such a pain.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I just went in to check on Teodi's and it is definitely not because of the trophies because I haven't reached master level in most of them.  However, I noticed that the drop rate of the new collectibles is getting erratic, tried once in 3 threads and didn't get the new one, tried again and got it.  Tried in 8 threads and didn't get any after 3 tries, got one on the fourth try.  I'm holding on to all my new collectible bits and not selling any, unless you need it.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

My DQ was for the Filipino (or however they're spelling it now) Propaganda Poster.  Put a bid on one before I went to bed, forgot that I bid and just bid on another one.  Checked my pm's and I had one the first one.

The keys are driving me whacky.  I still have 124 people on my list after deleting people i THOUGHT weren't playing, noticed that somebody who I deleted because they had no antique rating was buying and selling at auction, felt bad for a minute, then decided this person was probably not into keys, because sending one would have given him/her a rating even if they hadn't don't anything to fix up their shop.

If you need any help with your DQ today, post it here.  I'm going to take a day off from the insanity auction and play Midnight Castle.
