Yet another 60% off promotion if you download Awakening Kingdoms today! And it's still valid if you already have it on your computer. You just have to uninstall and reinstall it today. I've just done that and will now wait and see if I get the coupon this time! So far it's 4/4 that I haven't received. Although, I must admit, it always turns out better when I don't get it.
ETA: I forgot to ask if anyone actually pays $85 to get stuff in AK. I can understand paying less than a dollar for whatever it is that some of you have bought, but $85???? I can't see any of you paying that but does anyone really pay that sort of cash for a FTP game? I understand that that's how they make their money, but still. At least the top $ for today's new FTP is only ... ONLY ... $49. Imagine all the SEs you could get for that sort of money during a BOGOF! I know they only last for a number of hours but I much prefer them and they're all different and not HOG after HOG.
Well, I won't spend that amount of money to get coins and/or diamonds to use in the game. There are people who have admitted on the BF forums to spending that and more on American Road Trip. They are in a hurry to advance.
Because they are social games and don't really have an end and there's things you can do even between the new content updates, the forums for those games are very active. That may be the attraction for some people: a sense of community. And some people may feel that they are a more valued member of that community if they are at a higher level. I wonder if the F2P games would be as popular if CCC was still around.
Also, the BF forums are mostly used by the PC people. Those playing on an iPad tend to congregate on Facebook (some of the F2P have Facebook pages set up just for that game).

Of the F2P games I've played (tried MC, didn't like it, played FAIRWAY TEE TO PLAY to complettion for free, am playing AK & ART) I have only paid less than $1 US for the pegacorn. Right now AK has a couple of quests that require large amounts of items (10 Royal Jewel boxes, 12 Moon Fountain Tea mixes) that have an extremely rare drop rate. I've played Goblin Village 23 times in a row and no Tea mix! As you can imagine it's going for astronomical prices in the Auction. I checked to see how many crystals it takes to buy the mix. It would take about 1/3 of my crystals to satisfy this quest. Much as I have enjoyed this game perhaps it's time to move on.

I started playing Bridge to Another World Burnt Dreams and it is pretty good. Really beautiful graphics and a good storyline. Lots of puzzles. I did have difficulty with one puzzle painting as I found it really hard to see so I had to skip it.
So Tirama have you dl'd Township on your Ipad yet? How are you liking the IPad? You got a lot of memory which is great. I am having some issues with mine the last couple of fays du to memory shortage. I have to laugh that having 4GB of available memory is a shortage.

And I love my little dragon in the game.

THe only game I've played on my iPad so far is Mahjong Towers Touch. DH installed a solitaire game. I'm not ready to start another social game.
I finished Surface: Reel Life Collector's Edition. Missed one flower in the main game. Missed a couple of achievements. The story wasn't bad, I like the way the achievements are presented. The guy who voiced our friend James in the first Haunted Hotel game done by Elephant is the lead male voice in this game.
I'm going to play Cruel Collections: The Any Wish Hotel next. Last time I tried it, I was having technical issues. If it acts up again, I'm dexing it and asking CS for a refund.
I'm skipping this sale. I'd rather wait and see if we get something special for 4th of July weekend and see if the codes work on Monday so that I can get extra punches.

I meant to say my dragon is my screen saver as well, he is quite cute. Like one of those ugly little dogs who is just adorable.
I've not played any of those games Tirama. As for Township, it is only as social as you make it. At this time the only contact you have with friends is you can set them up in Your friends and send them a gift balloon each day, which cost you nothing. It doesn't take your inventory at all. And you can click a button and virtually visit the others town. So basically it is on your own, your own pace harvesting crops and building up your little town, no time elements. The next update I know they are employing an interactive portion where you can help a friend load their trains. But it's all only what you want to make of it. Totally unnecessary to advance in the game. There is no HO portion or quests. Is just a relaxing little time waster and fun. I'd tell you yo dl it just to see and enjoy the graphics. They are really nice.

I succumbed to the sale and got:
Haunted Manor Painted Beauties CE
Lost Souls Timeless Fables CE
Myths of the World Fiends and Fairies CE
Grim Facade Wealth of Betrayal CE
Royal Detective Queen of Shadows CE
Christmas Stories A Christmas Carol CE
Awakening the Redleaf Forest CE
Shadow Wolf Mysteries Under the Crimson Moon CE
It is basically a BOGOF so I went for it. I have plenty of SE games I want that I can use my PCCs for.

Hi! ** big wave ** I'm emoticon challenged on this site. But I love your little mouse. It's so cute.
Sorry I missed you! I was sending you a PM!
You certainly did go crazy today!!!! I hope you love every single one! And, given that I only have one of those you've listed (and played and reviewed), I expect reviews for all the rest, thanks!
