I own AND have played 2 of these.  The Black Cat is my favorite of the Dark Tales.   I also enjoyed Twisted Lands.  Most people thought it was rather weird.  If you own the other two Twisted Lands, I'd recommend playing them together.

Thanks Tirama for the advice ~ I do own all 3 and most likely will set Nightshift Legacy aside for awhile as I'm just not interested in playing it right now.

Welcome, FudgeChi.  Glad to hear you are getting back into playing your games and we try to keep each other motivated to get those games "finished".  I have not completed any of the Weird Park games yet but that's nothing new.

After finishing Sable Maze: Norwich Caves CE which I enjoyed even more than the first one, I decided to go back and play my last one of this month's oldie challenge.  Nightshift Legacy: The Jaguar's Eye is really a strange game and one I was just not feeling into at the moment so decided to play one of my MCF games still unplayed ~ MCF: Shadow Lake CE.  I know a lot of people really did not like this one but I'm actually enjoying it except for Lea Thompson's overacting, ugh.  I like the way they've done the HOS and matching the drawings Cassandra gives the detective.  The SG is useless and have had to go to the forum a few times but glad to be getting it finished.

I decided to take a break from the oldies and play some newer games for a while.  Remembered doing the beta for Sable Maze: Norwich Caves back on 08/19/13 and remembered I really liked it so when I went back to my schedule, realized it was the second game in the series.

Just finished Sable Maze: Sullivan River CE and enjoyed it a lot.  Lots of IHOS which were really good and the puzzles were even better, IMO.  Ended up with 16/18 achievements, with the only 2 I missed, clicking 3 objects in 3 seconds (really didn't try) and no misclicks in HOS (that's never going to happen). Needed to collect 30 notes and for the longest time wasn't sure what they were but looked at achievements and it was notes that furthered the story along.  Lots of monarch butterflies throughout the game and wondered about those but think they were only indications of areas to check out.   Enjoyed playing it so much that I'm going on to Sable Maze: Norwich Caves CE.

Just finished The Last Dream and thoroughly enjoyed it.  I'm not a cat person (allergic) but that little guy was something else.  Got such a kick when I would point my cursor where I wanted him to go and he would look up and slowly shake his head back and forth as if he was saying "not!"  I also chuckled when I saw him in the underwater scene with the diving mask/snorkel on.

You all mentioned the puzzle grid where all the pieces needed to fit, and count me in as also someone who spent quite a bit of time on it until I realized the pictures on the pieces - duh!  Also enjoyed the one where the squares were stacked that had items in them and you had to move them so they would fall and make matches to clear the board - that one was a little tricky and needed to play around with it a bit but finally got it.  Missed two of the achievements because I skipped one puzzle and used a hint or two in the FROG scenes.  Good game and good music.

I just went to Big Fish and got the Terms of License post.  I did read it and noticed the change to Big Fish Games "virtual offerings" being used a lot.  I'm guessing there are a lot of unhappy customers with the advent of the casino type offerings but after reading it almost entirely, I'm once again confused as to if we really "own" the games we have purchased and downloaded to our computers.  I see that they can block or cancel our accounts for various reasons so does anyone know for sure if we will be able to continue to play them in the future.  Tirama, you are our resident expert on all Big Fish financial/legal stuff, what is your opinion re the new Terms of Service?
