Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

This FTP game should be played and last a long time so I do not understand these people who give up on any challenge. For example when I have a question to craft three of something, just play Hos, as much as I can and just after a few laps I see what I can finish. Now I'm not worried what quests are in front of me and I look forward to the new update - I hope the new "coming soon" areas will open, for the new pets and maybe new achievements . And I  came here (level 40) and  have not spent real money- and intend to remain so. And my DH work this weekend so I make great progres in MC...

I don't get all the drama involved with people quitting.  If you want to quit, just quit.  And don't just remove your want list, delete your friends so they know that you mean it when you say you're quitting.

I've made it to the first series of quests from Norman, the detective.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

Tirama,

Thanks for the brown  (red?)  stamp!  Finally!  I get it about stalling the game at a quest.  At first I didn't realize the game won't give you what you want unless you have a quest for it.  Now,  at last,  I'm at the quest for the Steam Mechanism,  and am crafting them until my eyes bleed. What other items are worth crafting for coins?  How much should I save up before moving on?

I hatched the turtle egg,  and cute little Myrtle has so far given me one gold chest,  but always something worthwhile,  like blue stamps. Still a lot of eggs I don't have;  how do you get them without spending all your diamonds?

I've noticed the game won't give me anything for the gnome,  until I'm almost out of time.  Also  I've
NEVER won at dice if it's for him,  so I play for the least possible amount.

Who is Norman,  and when does he show up?  Thanks.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

sandham - I'm hanging out at the steam Mechanism with my Berengaria game until the next update.  It's obvious to me that the things needed to craft this item are totally wrong and I want to take advantage of this mistake for as long as I can.  If it hasn't been fixed by the next update, I'll move forward.

I don't like crafting anything else to sell for coins because it uses up stamps and a player has no control over when and what stamps the game gives them.  I prefer to sell individual items because if I need them for a quest, the game will give them to me.  Otherwise, to get coins, I play the HO scenes and send the airship and click on morphing flowers.

You can get eggs on the fortune wheel, sometimes you can play dice with the dragon and win them, or get them from friends.  You can check the BF forum, sometimes people have extra eggs and will gift them.  There's a thread called eggs to gift.  You can put one on your wish list and maybe one of your firneds has one to give away.  Some people believe putting them on the wish list makes them show up on the fortune wheel.

I've just made it to level 36 with TiramaSue2.  Norman shows up in level 35, he's a detective.  The storyline is all over the place and it's getting hard to keep all the characters straight.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

Tirama,

Thanks for the eggs-ample.  (Sorry)  I've never seen an egg in the dice game,  and seldom on the wheel.  If one does show up,  I guess you have to keep spinning until you win it?  I'll check the thread you mentioned.

What do you mean by  "wrong items"?   I'm on level 33.  Thanks for the tips.

Mila,  Can't believe you're on Level 40!.  Or yes,  i can.  Do you do anything else?

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

The items used to craft the Steam Mechanism are exactly the same as those used for the Tiara of whatever it is.  If you look at the picture of the steam mechanism, you can see that you should need some sort of black caldron or kettle, something light blue, and 2 tan knobs.  Also, I think only costing 1 coin and 1 blue stamp to craft is wrong.  Usually if an item sells for a lot of money, it either requires a lot of stamps or you pay more in coins than you would get if you sold it.

I never pay more than 500 coins to spin the wheel, no matter what is on it.  If there's any good stuff, I usually win it on my 1st or 3rd spin.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

Tirama when you get the question for Insomnia horn stay on it as much as you can and sell it. And now a nice duty for you: my turtle needs a name, so you be the godmother to her.
Sandhan I will send you one red stamp, and you will give name to my squirrel, I'll let you know when she's be born...

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

How about calling your turtle Tessa?

I just got my 20th gold chest and I really needed those 10,000 coins.
