Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

You really should play 3 threads and the turtle in the toy shop.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

That makes it just stupid easy, not that I'm complaining.  You can just play the flower shop and the 1 hammer turtle and fill a collection.  I guess I'll fill the others just for the accomplishment  but why bother after that, just fill the stuffed animal one over and over.  Time to cash in some hammer collections

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Yep, that's certainly the cheapest collection to fill in terms of energy and mini game resources.  Look for the price  of items in the hammer collections to soar.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I used a 10% coins keepsake at the #1 hammer and ended up with 40+ parrots.  Now I have to play the HO another 35 times.  An then do it with my other game.

WOW Wendy!  I think I'll be happy with 6 of each collection.  I really don't spend gold on anything.  I might update my vehicle though.

I built the Penny Arcade and I'm not too happy about it.  Level 1 you get one slot machine that costs 100 coins for one spin.  I did match 2 so I got some payout.  You don't get the other one until you upgrade to level 2.  Has Boomzap joined the dark side with BFG?

Since when has the Tailor Shop given out collectibles?

Since the update.  People complained about there being no collectibles there.  One person even implied that it was racist for the tailor shop to be chosen as the only shop not giving collectibles.

I've upgraded the Penny Arcade to level 5, but have no intentions of playing anything at this point in time.

If BoomZap has gone over to the Dark Side, they've certainly made it easy with this spring quest for you to get the gold you need to gamble.

If you want to upgrade your truck, now's the time.  You earn  coins from doing that turtle over and over, use the coins to buy pizza for energy, use the energy to play the flower shop over and over, cash in the collections and grab the gold.

I customized two buildings, but I'm not going to do any more until the spring quests are over.  Customization takes over 24 hours, and I don't want to be locked out of a building that long.  It's safe to upgrade the Penny Arcade, I think level 5 took 7-8 hours.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

OMG, I just had total deja vu while playing ART  During the auction.  A grad gown came up for 25,000 and I bought it and then another came up for 58,000 and it felt like I had lived through that way back when I first started the game, but that's not possible because there weren't any grad gowns back then.  It sure felt weird, though.

LOL Wendy!

Thanks Tirama.  I'm not going to upgrade or customize anything until after the Spring event is over.  I am having quite a bit of fun playing so far though!    OMG! Racist? Really?  Some people just have to try and start trouble, don't they!

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I managed to do 45 turtles in 30 minutes.  I have a feeling I'm going to hate the sight of turtles long before the spring event is over.
