Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Strange... I put a gown on auction in my animal themed game, Wendy Darling but in the auction they're listed as being from Travolta's.  I was in WD's, logged into Trav's, looked them up, and they were under Travs.  Remember earlier I said I could bid on my own stuff? Apparently the cloud is getting a bit confused

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

OK, both my games are now Travolta's, and they both have the same ID number.  I tried to change one back to WendyDarling's but it said that name was taken.  I guess I will have to quit playing on the same computer and go back to using the laptop.  I put a gown at 175,000 but it hasn't gone yet, guess I'll have to go back to 150,000.

EDIT:

I can't change off of Travolta's no matter what I do.  It's seperate games, though, when I use the two different emails to log in.  Different decor, different gold, different coins, different stuff.  Weird, weird, weird.  It knows which one auctioned what and will only let me bid on the other one.  WendyDarling's still exists someplace, somewhere, in some other space/time continuum...how do you spell that?... but I don't know how to get there from here.

Wendy -- that thing with your two games IS weird!  Can you post the problem on Boomzap's forums?  Maybe they can straighten it out.

Well I'm miles behind both of you BUT I did get over 500,000 coins today!  I used 10 gold to buy a graduation gown so I could complete the platinum set.  I'm really running low on resources and some of them have almost no sets that give them to you.  And I went to dinner with top bids on 2 stafforsdshire teaposts and came back to see that they had been snatched out of my grasp.  Maybe they'll come back in the next update.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Now I seem to have 2 different names again.  Bizarro Wendy World.  My daily quest was the 4 glove game.  It was for the Worker's boots.  It was incredibly hard!  There were 40 pictures in each of the 3 rounds!  I'm never doing that one again.

I had to play that one over and over when I needed bricks to upgrade the Auction House to level 5.  The only set that gave bricks that I had half a chance of completing ws the men's shoes.  I haven't played it since then.  And two days after I had the bricks I needed was when the game went crazy and was handing out excessive resources in each HO scene.

The 5 gloves game is even worse, IMO, and only gives the turquoise seed earrings, which can be found elsewhere.

You know it's bad when you still remember it this long afterwards, Tirama.

I just sold a Grad gown for 175,000 and one for 200,000  I've been using my gold and buying them.

I may be the only person on the planet who likes the Botanical minis!   I've always enjoyed match minis in games and the old card game Comcentration.  For the end of the 2nd week I got a lasagna!

I don't know how the two of you have amassed all that gold!  There aren't all that many Achievements left that will give me gold.  I never had anywhere near 400 bars.  I think the best I ever had was 200..

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I'm waiting until the grad gowns are made available in a quest, like the Mythical Cameo.  Then I'll stock up.  I'm closing in on 9 million coins, I don't need the money.

So what did everybody get on day 14?  I got a lasagna.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I got a lasagna, too.  Weren't we supposed to get double rewards?  Or do we have to get 21 stars?  My other game is 3 or 4 days behind.

I don't really need anything.  I've got tons of collections saved up, plenty of resources, lots of money and plenty of gold.  I don't really have anything to do so the game has become pretty pointless, don't quite know why I'm still playing it

I'm not sure what they mean by double the rewards.  We increase our multiplier to 3 when we've checked in for 21 consecutive days.

Free stuff is always good, whatever the rules are, and the daily check-in bonus is much more generous than in Midnight Castle, which sends you back to the rewards for Day 1 after 5 straight days.

I've either got everything I need (8.7 million in coins, more than 2400 in gold bars, max energy of 2755, stickpiles of food and keepsakes) or I can afford to buy it.  I'm not going to get upset or go crazy trying to figure out whether BoomZap has done me out of stars, or whatever.
