Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Saw your post in the sale thread, Tirama.  Loved your paint can comment   People are getting all upset over basically nothing.  The only halfway good thing I had on sale was the +5 Max Prawns for 7500 instead of 10,000 and that's not that great of a deal.  I actually kind of like the idea of random sales, it was fun comparing what we were offered and there will be another along soon.  I don't know why people can't be happy they were offered any kind of sale.  Maybe we were offered things on sale that we normally don't buy.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

My reading comprehension is now being questioned.  I swear half the people playing this game only play so that they have something to complain about.

I'm waiting for the same people to kvetch about receiving paint as their reward for playing 7 days in a row.

I got gold for my surprise today but I don't know how much it was.  Hope Lily gets some envelopes

Efi24 received 5 gold bars.  Maybe that's what you got.

My surprise was the Briefcase of mini game resources.  I'm not going to unbundle it just yet.  Going to wait until I have time to play a 1 resource mini game in each building and make a record of how many coins and how much experience points I receive.  Then I'll sell all the collectibles I got at auction and get a grand total for what the gift was worth to me.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Thanks Wendy.  I would have loved envelopes.  I got the minikeepsake thing.  I already have multiples of all the items in there but it's always nice to get a gift!

Oops! And I owe an apology to Barre.  When I type her name into the search box at the auction I get her items AND the items of another player, Barrett.  That's the one who had the expensive Ran Owls.

Tirama -- I've found a few items to add to the minigame collectibles.

Birdwatching -- 7 binoculars - Ben's Justice (Ithink.  it looks like it).  10 binoculars - The Farmer's Wife.

Crawford Fisheries -- 10 lures - crossbow (not the steel filigree, the plain one).

Park Ranger's Office -- 10 tweezers - Steel Filigree crossbow

Thanks, lily.  Added those items to thelists.

Regarding the surprise presents for playing 7 days in a row:  somebody is unhappy about receiving "only" a pizza.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I'll trade my minikeepsakes for the pizza!

Rats!  I wasted almost 450 energy.  I was playing HOs and some of them give me ridiculous amounts of energy.  And they aren't even ones that I necessarily have the most trophies in.  So with 450 energy left I levelled up!

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Woo Hoo!  I went into the game to collect things to sell.  Every time I get a posh pashmina I get 3,000+ coins AND I get to sell it!  I looked at my resources and they were anywhere from zero to 150 so i decided to ge sets that give resources.  I wasn't able to get all the things I needed but I'm tired, so I'll finish up tomorrow.  I doubt that I'll ever get millions of coins but I'm loving this Auction more and more!

Oh.  And 18 lures gives the sweat shirt.

What am I doing wrong?  I've played the Secret Library 8 times in a row (twice in each mode) and I still haven't gotten the Orbital Base.  It shows as being there.  I've gotten it before.

Wow!  You're very lucky to have gotten through 8 plays of the Secret Library.  It's very glitchy and a lot have people have had to back out of the scene losing their energy and gettting nothing.  Unless you need the Orbital Base for a quest, if really want one, it might be cheaper to try for one at the auction.
