The fruit salad is mislabeled.  It doesn't give you energy, it increases your maximum energy, which is a better reward.  Some people are claiming they got an increase of 150, I only received an increase of 50.  Of course, those other people may be mathemetically challenged.

I hope BoomZap does something about that missing quest because without it, I can't get the reward for completing 29 valentine quests.

Looking for something to be happy about, I was glad to see the sale on the rowboats.  I was going to start customizing my buildings, but will wait.  I might need the money for something else that goes on sale.

And my truck is fully upgraded.
 

The fully upgraded truck gives you 20 energy units per hour.  That's an additional 192 units of energy each day.

I still have over 500 gold.  Other than the truck, the only time I've spent gold was to skip the Red Mines quest, to get the stupid pet accessory (but we got it back for completing quest), to buy garlic sticks (again, we were given gold for that quest) and I bought a lamp when we had the quest to buy a keepsake.  Still have a lot of chances to make more valentine collections and there's still some achievements to earn which award gold.

My max energy is 1455, still have a few mac and cheese left, and over 2.5 million coins.  What did you sell at auction?  I haven't bothered with the auction that much because we're all doing the same quests and all have the same excess stuff.
 

There are people on the BF forum who are on level 100.  Good for them.  I don't expect to catch up to people who started the game 3-4 months before I did and/or have spent hundreds of dollars playing.  I'm in no hurry.

Don't be discouraged about not getting what you need from the mini games.  I reached professional level before I got the goody from the 18 magnifying glasses.  Only reason I kept at it was because it was part of a quest.  Next time BoomZap decides to to have a resources give-aawy, I'm concentrating on the mini games.

I'm stuck for quite awhile now.  I only have two normal quests and I can't do either one.  For one I have to do a mini in the toy shop and it requires master level in the candy shop.  I'm sitting at 7/10 in the 2nd level so I will have to play it umpteen more times.  Well, 3 more, then 15 more, then 20 more, so only 38 more times.  My other quest is to do "Dog Awaits Master" mini and that takes 140 gold to unlock or something like that.  I found a thread about it, people say they had the quest but didn't use gold but they can't really remember how it turnied to coins, maybe upgrading all the buildings.  I've got most of them at level 5, I hate to do more now because then you can't can't use the building but I have my quests done for the day so maybe I'll do a couple.  I need more logs, though.
