I've been playing the mini-games today and I don't think the new special items are in any of the mini-games, they are only found in the HOS.  I've got pretty much the same as what you managed to get except missing 1 card and 1 flower. I've got 2 of the snacks.
 

Wow!  You all are doing so much better than I am!  I've got 3 cards, 2 flowers 1 letter and 2 sweets.  Has anyone found the Valentine's Ran the owl?  I have the quest to update my ledger to platinum but I'm no where near the amount of money I need.  I'm about 1k XP from leveling up.  Maybe I should use one of the resources and play minis.  At least we still have a decent amount of time to try and complete these sets.

Just noticed that since I upgraded to platinum ledger, cost to customize buildings has dropped.   Good things appear to come to those who wait instead of those who want it all at once.  Don't think cost of upgrading vehicle will drop since people at much higher levels are citing the same cost.

Don't be in a hurry to get the platinum ledger.  It makes platinum collectibles available in the HO scenes, but getting them to drop is a whole other story.

I've found 2 of the letters, 4 of the flowers,  4 of the cards, and 2 of the candies.

I'm going to concentrate on making gold sets and trying to level up to 45 so I can open butterfly 4 nets game and finish library dude's quest.

Oh,  my word!!  I just did the latest update,  and  wow!  Tons of quests,  and lots of stuff,  enough to complete several collections.  I ate like a pig and replenished my energy several times.  And lo and behold!  They've fixed the dratted mine!  You can get into the cousin's tent,  in which he has some interesting things,  including a vacuum cleaner and ice skates.  You can also get in the mine.
  The only thing they didn'd do is fix Philip's quest.  I sorted his  #*^#^%  stamps for the sixth  (or was it the seventh?)  time--again,  they tell me I succeeded,  but the quest is still there,  and I still don't have my  whatever-the-thing-is.
