So, I wonder what would happen....
I have my desktop now, and I have my laptop. The desktop is at least one update behind, probably 2 or 3. The laptop is also an update behind. What happens if I just update one system, laptop or desktop, but not the other? And then try to play the game on the other device? Once I update I lose the 1280 coins for Fungus Hut. I still haven't run out of quests, I haven't even gotten all the door tiles.

You wind up with some seriously messed up games? The updates have introduced new collectibles. What happens if you've earned them playing on a machine that's been updated, but then try to log in on a machine that hasn't been updated? Where would those inventory items go?
I must be the only person playing this game that doesn't hang out in the fungus hut. I just don't care how fast I level up, don't care if my mini games have max trophies. I just keep playing the quests and at some point when I check my coins, I'm surprised to see how many of them I've amassed.

While I was delaying the August update (due to all the problems) I played Fungus Hut a LOT to be able to buy sandwiches and collect some bolgins. I'd read the forums that said Gizmotek was pretty expensive (bolgins and energy). I also played Fungus Hut a lot earlier to get enough bolgins to pay everyone who came asking for bolgins and to get all my buildings to level 5. The rewards in Gizmotek seem to be pretty good. I now have over 500k bolgins. I got a lot of crystals but spent most of them.

I'm wondering if I should splurge and buy Fungus Soup. The more max energy you have, the more "free" energy you get when you level up. And the cheaper per unit of energy the moonfell soup is.
On the other hand, it takes much longer to fill up on its own. During the time the shrine orb is recharging, you can get 576 energy.
I'm thinking that maybe I'm ready to at least go to Gizmotek and take a look around. My PC game is sort of a trial run so I know what to do on the iPad game.
I need to chek the BoomZap forum and read what's in each update. It may be time to cautiously visit Skycrystal Atriums and start getting ready to trigger Yura quests.

I have purchased Fungus Soup. Right now my max energy is 1530. It really makes the Moonfell Soups worthwhile (IMO). Since it takes the Shrine 48 hourse to recharge I just go in and play a HOS and/or feed the chest, check the auction. I'm still not liking the minis in Gizmotek. Even with the YouTube videos for Leodici's I've only been able to do 5. And there's just one video left. You have to get at least 2 trophies at least twice in each of the "untangle the string" minis so that's a LOT of resources. And one of them is found at Stone Circle. Even with the 20% reduction with the Shrine it's still 100 energy per play.

I triggered the Gizmotek timed event on my PC game.
My max energy is only around 900. I'm in deep doo-doo.
Just went to play the iPad game. There's an update. Pray for me.

Oooh! So sorry Tirama. It is doable. The really large amounts of reasources to play the minis come after the Event is over. A lot of the Event is talking to people or going somewhere. There are a lot of FIND quests too though. Fins crossed that the oPad update is a good, error-free one.

I'm only at 715 for energy. Doesn't matter much because it takes forever to even fill that up. Wish I could buy a semi, lol. I only get to play one or two scenes a day so it's taking a long time. I need over 20 of those herbs that look like turds in one game, they're at Dawnhope which takes me 118 to play, so every 10 hours I can try to get one.

On the PC game, I've completed 4 of the quests. I used a keepsake that increased expeience earned so that I'll level up sooner. Also bought a fungus soup and used that to refill the energy tank. I wasworking on the quest to find 15 flowers when I ran ot of energy. I got all the flowers at Apricus and on eof the flowers from Coral Cove.
The iPad update seems okay so far. Got my map trophies showing in the achievements and received the rewards, which were crystals, thet the achievements earned.
I'm working on thequest to find papers Seth dropped at Rosetum. I've visited there 4 times and the papers haven't dropped. Not amused.
Wendy - now that it takes so long for the energy tank to fill on the PC game, I usually don't play every day. I prefer to wait and play a few scenes at once. Especially now that I've got the shrine orb.

Tirama -- I'm glad the iPad update seems okay and that you got your trophies back and your crystals! I play just enough to trigger the daily reward. Otherwise I wait until the shrine recharges and then play HOS. Right now all I have left is the minis -- unfortunately including those darned strings !
Wendy -- I find the Shrine is really worth getting -- it gives you 3 hours where you can go to HOS for 20% less energy used.
