Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I'm so happy for you, Tirama.  I got my Game Manager back after my restarts.  I started playing the ERS FTP, Nightfall Mysteries Poe.  The objects are harder to find and there were a lot of complaints in the forums about how slowly the energy refilled.  You get to buy different pieces of outfits, one style lets you find things easier in the HOs, the other refills your energy faster.  I'm thinking I will go with the faster energy refill if I keep playing it.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Mila said she was going to update, too.  I like how she phrased it, "With a smile on my face"  As Doris Day sang "Que sera, sera"  That's the attitude I try to have in my life, go with the flow instead of getting too upset.
I've read that you can get the unicorn for free, in my oldest game I have enough crystals but haven't bought it yet, so I could use my crystals to unlock the Druid's Hut.  It's annoying because both of my older games are on level 43, so they're both doing pretty much the same quests.  At least that would move the one game forward.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I'll probably update the PC game tonight before I go to bed or while I'm playing on the iPad in the hope that the drop rates are better and the find glitch is fixed.  I still have plenty of quests to do.  Still haven't completed the door orbs.

I already have the pegacorn.  Wonder if it will be free on the iPad game.  I'm in no hurry with either game.  I play until I'm out of energy and then wait.  Don't upgrade or play mini games unless I have a quest to do so.  I'm hoping playing this way means I'll always have quests to do.  I don't like playing for coins so I can buy resources so I can play for coins so I can buy resources...

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I just finished replaying the main game of Awakening: The Skyward Castle.  It was fun seeing all the objects that the devs were able to work into AK as collectibles.  And even Sophia admits in one section of the gamethat she really needs a new dress and hadn't changed her clothes since the Dreamless Castle.

I only played the first bit of the bonus chapter that involved Captain Greg.  I had forgotten that Leodici made an appearance in this game, crashing his flying machine on Greg's telescope.

Some of the voice acting was very annoying, especially the puppets.  But the men doing Captain Gregory and Captain Jackdaws were very good.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I had started Skyward Castle and thought it was really trippy seeing all that stuff.  I got to where I put the crystals in and made the wingferry work and then I wondered what I was doing replaying a game when I have all these unplayed ones?
I paid the crystals on the game I didn't use them for the Pegahorn to unlock Druid's Hut so now that game can advance along while the other is still grinding out nectars.  It's freaking awesome to be able to exchange a collection for those darn dews  I was so excited about it I even used a jar of something that gave me +20 energy and a max refill just to keep playing it!

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I'm not going to replay any more Awakening games.  I just replayed the first and the Skyward Kingdom to get an idea of what the storyline was.  Glad I did, or I would have missed seeing Greg is his undies and his reaction to Leodici crash landing on his telescope.

I'm still trying to get those orbs.  I'm working on the quest for the Bouncer that requires all that honey.  The druid's hut is still locked, however, and I notice I have a quest for Chumblepot that needs lots of glass shards so maybe I'll spend today's energy in the Fairy Dragon Nest.  I'm getting tired of just playing Aileah Tor.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

AK made so much more sense after I played SKYWARD CASTLE.

Tirama -- I am SO HAPPY that you got your game back!  Sometimes the posts on the forums are much faster (and better) than the advice you get from CS.

I finally finished my mini-challenge -- get 600 sandwiches, 350k bolgins and at least 15 of each collectible. I just levelled up so I could buy one more fungus soup.  I have 3 moonfell soups.  I think, like, mmiillaa, that I'm going to take the plunge and install the update.  Fingers crossed that it works AND that I can avoid triggering the timed quests.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I just installed the update and everything is still there.  It sounds like you have enough inventory that a timed quest won't be a problem for you.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I don't have any idea what the orbs are  Or the Bouncer
I think I read that talking with the mayor about something is what sets off the timed quests.  I can't imagine having that many bolgins, when I get up to 40,000 I always have to upgrade something that takes most of it.  You must be really sick of the Fungus Hut.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

wendy - did you find all the door tiles?  The bouncer is the guy who was guarding the door.  Once you get the door open, there's a room that needs blue orbs.

I have 4 buildings that have to be upgraded to level 5.  I'm waiting until I have to upgrade them.  And I have close to 300,000 bolgins in my PC game and I never play the fungi tile game unless I'm asked to.  Don't have the supply of sandwiches lily has, though.

I just plod along, playing the hidden object scenes to get my quest items.  It builds up my inventory and I'm sure I have lots of collections I could cash in for coins, experience points, and food, but I'm in no hurry.  I don't like playing without quests, so lagging behind works best for me.  No twiddling my thumbs waiting for an update.
