Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Well, I don't have what I would consider to be a lot of gold, but I'm not sure I need a lot of gold.

The keys will keep me supplied in keepsakes, I have tons of food I bought before I lost my glitch gold, and my max energy is 22,120.  I have over 10,000,000 million coins, my antique rating as shown on my avatar is over 13,000.  I'm totally bored in that game.

I'm going to hold back on the pegacorn quest.  Just because it becomes available doesn't mean I have to do it immediately.  I believe it shows up at level 20, but you have to be in the 30's or even 40's before everything you need to complete it is accessible.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I used my penultimate soup and managed to find all the dresses  The next quest is a "Give".  I bought some of the items cheaply at auction since I have no energy.  Can I quit in the middle of a "Give" quest?

Don't Give anything until you have everything.

The problem I had with the quests is that when I would shut the game down, next time I started up the game the quest I had been working on would show up as new and all progress would be lost.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I managed to get through it.  Now I just have the last 2 quests, the storybooks, then the glue and paintbrushes.   I should find most of the paintbrushes while I'm looking for the book at Dawnshadow.  I've bought some of the "Give" stuff if I could get it really cheap, now I'm not worried about getting finished in time so I'll go find it myself.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I am scared, what kind of glitch, you're talking about?I think I finished these questions about dress. I'd really like to stay in the AK, even MC suffers because, when I get into the AK simply can not get out.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Mila - it depends on which update you've downloaded.  The find and give glitches were supposed by be fixed in the latest PC version but I haven't downloaded it yet because of other problems some people were reporting.  I still have plenty of quests to complete.

The glitches are supposed to be fixed for iPad in the next update.

In the timed quests, the quest doesn't stay open and you lose your progress on the quest when you shut down the game.  Not good for people who want to play other games.  You can get around this by not "giving" anything to teh character until you have all the items he/she wants.  On the "find: timed quests, there's no work around.  You have to leave the game open until you find everything.  If you've completed the Yura Quests and the Leodici quests, you're okay.

Another "find" quest glitch is having the quest show that you've found a negative amount of something.  This is caused by using the requested item to cash in a set, or to fill another quest.  I'm not sure in which version this glitch appeared on the PC side.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Right now steam is coming out of my ears.  There was an iPad update and I couldn't play the game unless I updated.

Well...

The update set my name back to Steward.  When I try to input the name I was using before the update (Berengaria), it tells me that name is already in use.

I also have a new Friend Code and the few friends I had have disappeared.  My coins have been set back to 1,000 and my crystals set back to 10.

My level remains the same, the energy amount looks correct, my inventory was carried over, but all my collectibles are missing.

I left a messeage on BoomZaps forum, but I'm guessing that I will have to start over again if I don't want to play with the handicap of being on level 9 with next to no assets.

Edited to add:

I had registered my game to save to cloud and I thought maybe I could get my old game and friend code back by using that. But when I tried to manage my account, it appears that my log in info has been transferred to the new friend code!

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

According to the BF forum, the same issues may be affecting the PC download.  So don't update the game.  If it won't let you play without updating, set the game aside until we hear something from BoomZap.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Okay.  Now I'm really confused.  I thought this sort of thing happened on the PC when people D/L'd the 3 updates in one day.  There have been 1 or 2 more since then.  And I THOUGHT that if you went ahead and D/L'd the "final" update (that was supposed to hafe the PC fixes in it) the game would be okay.  I guess I'll have to read the Boomzap and BFG forums.

Thanks for the heads up Tirama!

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

On the iPad, you are forced to update.  Had to go through a big song and dance because the ap store had changed its terms of service.

The PC update is a content update.  There's new quests, one of them a timed series, and some people activated that series right away.

Yeah, I want to play a timed quest with no collectibles, and virtually no coins or crystals.  Who QR'ed these updates, a baboon?
