Tirama -- If you work in a few games at the Fungus Hut you'll level up quickly.  I sure did.

Boomzap said there'll be an update (new stuff) "shortly".  I'm hoping that it's not more than 2 weeks from now.

My game app is showing that the update is here now.

I'm not worried about leveling up.  I'll get there when I get there.  I just hope the new update makes the portraits show up at Gobholme for me.  Using energy to play the same place over and over and not making any progress is what irks me.  I stopped laying the HO a while back and only go there if another quest sends me there.  I'll work on those portraits once I know that there ARE portraits.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I've played a good few quests and they are wonderful!  Lots of "go visit..." so they are pretty easy.  Raphael is back BUT (so far) he just wanted to visit some areas to see if he could find some scenes to paint.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

And it's getting harder!   There's a timed quest like Yura's Quest.  This is only 10 days though.  If you don't want to trigger it don't go talk to the mayor.  There are a couple of (fairly) hard  minis in Troglid's shop.  And of course everyone is asking for multiples of things.  I just hit the first that I didn't have in inventory.  But I am soooo enjoying this!

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I haven't even triggered the Yura quest.

Once I donated the 12,000 for Raphael, he came back asking me to build him a place to paint.  I told him to get in line.

I have a bunch of people wanting their buildings upgraded to level 4. Told them to get in line.

I want to finish with Triffledore (the quests I already have from him, I imagine that he, too, will be back wanting his building upgraded) and then I'm going to check the forums to see what exactly the Yura quests need and how to trigger them if I think I'm ready.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Tirama -- I feel your pain.  With the new set of quests with the update you need 10 Mirrors of Illusion, 5 Djinn of Time  and a bunch of goblin worms.  And that's just one quest!  I had 8 Mirrors and ended up buying one, finally got the last goblin worm I needed, but those Djinns of Time ....  they were almost impossible before this quest.  I finally just got one.  Only one more to go.  Of course there are none at Auction.  At thisa rate I'll be starving at the end of this Quest -- if I even have enough food to get to the end.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

lilyr- the more I play free-to-play games, the more I think it's important to be in at the beginning.  People who have finished before the next update but who have continue to play the HO's and build up their inventory really have an advantage.  (Of course, there's the flip side with the people who played so much to level up and now find themselves out of the game because it doesn't go past level 101).

I managed to catch up to the "charter memebers" in ART.  I don't think I'll ever catch up to them in AW or MC.  It's something I just have to accept.  If I have to have those portraits for Raphael before I trigger the Yura Festival, I may be celebrating it along with Christmas.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Tirama -- I'm not in a huge rush to finish anything first.  I do enjoy AK.  This newest update is an odd mix of easy -- visit areas, give pink moonflowers, building materials, play minigames -- and fairly hard IMO.  The game wants 10 Mirrors of Illusion, 5 Djinn of Time and now 10 Moon Fountain Tea mix.  I was having a hard time getting the Djinn and the Tea before the quest.  Like you, I've played scenes over and over and over without getting the desired item.  I had 6 tea and just now got one more.  That's it for tonight!

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I'm working on downloading the new update.  I can download with my phone but it costs $20 for 3 gigs and the update is 850 mbs, which is almost a gig, right?  I'm picking up somebody's unsecured wi-fi occasionally so I've been trying to download when it's around and I'm to 65% after working on it off and on for 24 hours.  It cuts off on me a lot.  I've been waiting to play until I get the update done.  I've done Yura's festival on one game, but not the other.  On the behind game, when I go to the map almost every location is blinking at me!  And I have to get the treasure vault to master but I'm hoping that will get my some Yura festival items stockpiled, like the gemhorn thingee.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Wendy -- I think a gig is 1000 Mbs but I'm not sure.  Your downloading sounds like back when I had dial-up Internet!  Boy was that painful!  I'm sorry I don't remember a lot of what was needed for Yura's Festival.  If you get a connection that's stable you could look in BFG forums.  They are all listed there.

sunshinej -- I'm sorry but I had to use all my Moon Fountain Tea for the new quests.  I'll see if I can get more after this quest set is finished.
