Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I haven't a clue what any of you are talking about.   I'm still slogging my way through Troglid's quests so that I can open up Gobholme or whatever it's called to get the rest of the portraits I need for Raphael.

Turned in a number of collections to get the money for Captain Greg and his festive lamps and statues.  Ignoring requests to upgrade buildings for the time being.

It's great that we now get the Sylvia thingy at the Fairy Dragon's nest, but I still can't put together a collection to get those 15 blueprints because the Faita thingy refuses to drop when I play Dawnshadow Lake.

Instead of sending me quests involving the festival story line so early, I wish they would have been timed to come after I finished the quests from the original release.  I'm not sure which quests belong to which chain, and I don't want to trigger the 15 day countdown and find myself lacking resources.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Tirama...Make sure you finish the map quest so the Treasure Vault will be unlocked before starting the festival quest.  The festival quest doesn't show a person, but a clock.  I started the map quest while in the middle of doing the festival.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I haven't even received a map quest.  I'm being very careful about doing anything relating to the festival until I check with the various forums to see what's going on.  My main focus right now is taking care of Troglid and getting enough poster glue to play some mini game for the Mayor.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

On one computer I have a game that hasn't gotten to the festival yet.  I just put together the map and opened up the treasure vault, I think you have to go there during the festival quests.  I think it's something about finding and waking up the fairy that starts the quest so I've been doing other stuff.  I'm pretty low on money and haven't built up to the master level on the card game yet, and I don't know what stuff is good for auction anymore so I don't know what to buy or sell, or if somethings a good deal or not.  I used to know what everything sold for but I've been spending so much more time playing ART and they added all the new stuff and I'm just lost in AK now

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Waking the fairy starts Yura's quest so hold off on that.

Wendy -- the AK auctions are unreal!  Sometimes things that people need for quests are sky high; other times dirt cheap.  Sometimes things that nobody needs for much of anything are sky high.

I really wish we could gift.  I've got lots of items that give glue and blueprints.  The ones i have trouble with are paintbrushes and fairy glass.

I'm down to my last quest -- which is to reach level 45.  While I'm waiting to get there I'm trying to fill in colledctions (I have a list of what I need and where it is supposed to be) and trying to save up enough bolgins to get my buildings to level 5.  I just got Town Hall and it reall looks nice.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I played some AK today.  I've been pretty much ignoring it in favor of ART, even though I've run out of quests there.  I'm slowly building towards the festival.  I have the 2 card mini up to master so I'm making money there.  I'm out of energy now, but I only need a few thousand experience to level up so I'll do that tomorrow and go from there.  I needed 7 glues for a quest, looked up the Puppet Kip and Opal Slippers and they were ridiculously priced.  Glue is 300 apiece, so why would I pay 5000 for a collection piece that only gives me 10 of them?  So I used all the rest of my energy playing the HO scenes to get them and didn't get either one of them  I called it a night and bought the glue from the store

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I'm essentially out of quests in AK.  My last quest was "make level 45"; my present quest is "make level 46".  Right now I'm playing the Hut to get bolgins so I can update all my buildings.  I use my energy to visit the sites that I need stuff from.  I have a very long list!   I've looked at the list of Achievements and I don't have that many that are doable.  I'm still enjoying the game though.

Wendy -- again, I wish we could gift.  I had several Kips and an extra pair of opal slippers.  What I have an absolute ton of is thread!

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

lilyr...Didn't the new upgrade that we had just the other day have any new quests for you and did it solve your freezing problem?

I am on #14 of the festival with 5 days left.  I was stuck for a bit trying to do the quest to get the Treasure Vault opened in the middle of the festival and couldn't get the 3rd Mystic Gemshorn even after I leveled up and spent 360 in energy.  I said forget it and spent the 4 crystals to get the Gemshorn.

I will be happy when it is done.  There is just something about a countdown that just rattles me.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

sunshinej -- Yes, the update DID give me new quests but apparently I blew through them.  Right now I'm earning bolgins to get my buildings to 5 and visiting scenes (when I have the energy) to restock.  Oh! You must have forgotten that I said I'd hold on to a gemshorn for you.  I found two and bought one for that quest.  Knock on wood, so far no freezes.  There has been some lagging but if I wait it clears up.  Although it makes me think it'll freeze!

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Lily, did you buy the Pegacorn?  Here's what somebody posted over at BF:

It seems that the limited time only applies to the purchase of the new pet (it's only .99 cents (.69 cents for big fish members).

You do get a variety of quests to bring the Pegacorn back to health. Getting collection items, visiting places to acquire the ingredients for healing.

This is not a timed quest so don't worry about that.

When finished healing the Pegacorn you will recieve as a reward 1 Ham, 20 diamonds, 1 box that reduces the energy spent at HOS 20 percent for 30 min, and 1000 experience.

The Pegacorn can be switched out with the Squabbit anytime (you would retain the two pets) The Pegacorn will help you find items faster. You can also dress him up like you dress the squabbit.

I'm off to spend my first money on a free to play.  All the in-game goodies I'll receive for nursing that pegacorn are worth  69 cents, IMO.
