Big, big morning today.  Since the Midnight Castle update came out I've been spending my time there, so I had a lot of energy built up.  I used the Shrine for Shaggy and got a lot of the Alyeah Tor, Druid Hut, and Dawnhope Caverns done.  Shagcat is in the middle of Gizmotek and had full energy so I used his shrine, and a soup, and leveled up... or maybe Shaggy did, I played a whole lot... and I"m most of the way through, only a few more FINDs to go, so I went ahead and used that thing we got this morning, I figured if the energy recharged every 2 minutes for 24 hours that would be 720, and then the rest will refill by the time my shrine is ready again, so that and one more soup should get me most of the way through Gizmotek.  I also leveled up on one of the games and got to go to the Level 50 HO scene, Dreamless Pond or wherever.

800 crystals just seems like many too many to get new energy every two minutes.  Right now I have 1650 energy and 198 crystals.  I'll probably buy a fungus soup to bump that up 100.

DH and I checked out the cost of crystals and decided we'd get it the old fashioned way - we'd earn it.  I still have a lot of achievements out there to complete that pay crystals.

lilyr - the mayor gives you a gift, which you can find in your inventory under the specials.  When you use it, your energy recharges every 2 minutes for 24 hours.   Motivation behind the gift was probably to make us really want to buy the food that gives us 2 minute rechard permanantly.

I might spend more money to buy it if it cost much less, say $10.  Maybe even the price of a CE.  But no way will I spend $100.

I prefer to think of it as I can get the stuff to feed the dark chest twice as fast.

Di you notice that the chunky stew can now be purchased for coins AND it's now worth 125 units of energy, up from 100?
