MC Songs and Poetry

In this thread please feel free to create songs and poetry related to Midnight Castle. To add humor, fun, inspiration, or generally how you feel (sad or happy) via a creative outlet.

Remember to avoid copyright laws and don't copy entire songs directly. Put your own MC spin on a familiar tune or create a unique, fun piece of poetry. Have fun and express yourself.

I'll start this thread with a song I did a long time ago to get you in the mood to create something of your own.

Friends of Midnight Castle ( to the tune of Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkle)

Hello Skull Pete my old friend
I've come to help you once again
You sent me to the Bow Figurine
I saw Six Paws while I was sleeping
And the vision that was planted in my brain
Still remains
within Midnight Castle

Through the castle I walk alone
Narrow streets of cobblestone
I turned my vision to the corner screen
I see something what could it mean
When my eyes were stabbed by a flash of a neon light
Help in sight
Touched by friends of Midnight Castle

And within the light I saw
A fine buckle maybe more
People helping unselfishly
People full of generosity
People giving items knowing I will share
They all cared
Within Midnight Castle

Re: MC Songs and Poetry

To the tune of Flowers on the Wall - Statler Bothers

I keep hearing your concerned about my addiction
As Midnight Castle's always running from dusk until the dawn
If I were walking in your shoes, I wouldn't worry none
While you and your friends are worrying 'bout me
I'm having lots of fun

Counting flowers on the wall
That don't bother me at all
playing Midnight Castle until dawn
I hope I didn't forget one
I quit cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me, I've nothing to do

Last night I rolled the dice
and pretended I had won
As long as I have MC
It's hard to slow this player down
So please don't give a thought to me
I'm really doing fine
You can always find me here
Having quite a time

Counting flowers on the wall
That don't bother me at all
playing Midnight Castle until dawn
I hope I didn't forget one
I quit cigarettes and watching Captain Kangaroo
Now don't tell me, I've nothing to do

Mr Thelen (to the tune of Mr Sandman)

Mr Thelen, please fix this game.
Each day I send airships, all cargoes the same.
Spinning the craft wheel, I win only junk.
It's no wonder that I'm in such a big funk.

Mr Thelen, please fix it quick.
If I win pig food one more time, I'll be sick.
To quit playing now would be a shame.
Mr Big Fish Thelen go fix this game.

(Click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click)
(Click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click)
Mr Thelen, please read this thread
We have a problem it needs to be said
It pains me to make this harsh accusation
But those airship wheels are causing me frustration
Mr Thelen, I'm not alone
There's many players who echo my groans
Please before we go insane
Mr Thelen, please fix this game

(Click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click)
(Click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click, click)
Mr Thelen, please help us out
Developers listen when you start to shout
All our suggestions have fallen on deaf ears
And we've been making them for over two years!
Mr Thelen, you are "THE FISH"
One word from you, and we'll get our wish
Please before we go insane
Mr Thelen, please fix this game

Gnome Man Land (to the tune of Nowhere Man)

I'm stuck here in Gnome Man Land
Doing what DQ's I can
Waiting for an update to come some day

Inspiration, Birth of Goo
Rare Editions, Something New
You can play in Gnome Man Land with me.
Librender will haunt you
Potionmant will taunt you
Mechanogle will want you to play Helping Hand

Android, iPad, or PC
All can come DQ with me
Gnome Man Land will welcome one and all
You can play on Kindle
Watch your diamonds dwindle
Check your gifts to see if somebody
Lends you a hand
Ah, la, la, la, la

Knowledge Hunter and Gnome Spy
These both make me want to cry
You can play in Gnome Man Land with me.
Librender will haunt you
Potionmant will taunt you
Mechanogle will want you to play Helping Hand
Ah, la, la, la, la

Re: MC Songs and Poetry

It's midnight GMT and I got a new quest now
(Come on, baby, play Another Potion)
It isn't the worst one but it isn't the best now
(Come on, baby, play Another Potion)
Visiting the Rock Garden will take four Forged Keys
And I'll need two torches for the Burnt Tree
So come on, come, play Another Potion with me.

Re: MC Songs and Poetry

There once was an airship in the castle
To fill it was such a big hassle
I gave a loud groan
When it left on its own
Now I wait 'til it returns to the castle.

The DQ Achievements ( to the tune of The Rainbow Connection)

Why do some people
Tell me I'm crazy
For doing the Daily Quests?
'You'll never finish them
You'll never complete them
You're going to wind up stressed.'

So I've been told
But refuse to believe it
I know they're wrong, wait and see
Some day I'll finish
The DQ achievements
And then a Dwarf Priest I will be

Who said achievements
Should only be easy
When playing this game called MC?
If things are too easy
They aren't a challenge
Or test of ability

So I keep questing
While others are resting
And one day they're all going to see
That players can finish
The DQ achievements
And be a Dwarf Prince along with me

All of us happy at last, we did what they said was impossible

So let people laugh at me
Shake their heads with derision
I'm going to prove that they're wrong
I'll never stop trying
I'll work on them daily
And I'll just keep plugging along

I've come too far to just quit in frustration
I know I'll succeed eventually
I'm going to finish
The DQ achievements
And then a Dwarf Priest I will be

La da da di da da dum da duh da da dum di da ohhh

All out of Scrolls (to the tune of All out of Love)

I'm all out of scrolls, can't move on without them.
I play all the scenes, but never receive one.
I'm all out of scrolls, I hope my friends gift them.
Oh no, it's too late, I looked but my airship's gone.
