Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Hi, Lily!

Fudge's "poem" is the second-last entry in "Three Letter String" in "Word Games" ... it's very clever!

Also 2 posts before that ... also very clever!

I'd logged off last night, stusue. I usually log off around 9PM otherwise I'd never watch anything on TV! Fell asleep last night on the sofa though so no idea where I'm up to on The Good Wife.
And thanks again, stusue for what you said about my "poem" I'm not a better poet than you though!

I just tell it like I see it, Fudge!

You were showing online, hence I said Hi, but when I checked back after I'd posted it you'd gone!

I hope you didn't wake up with a crick in your neck!

Off to bed for me now!  It's after 1 am and I'm almost dislocating my jaw I'm yawning so much!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I finished Halloween Riddles: Mysterious Griddlers.  Some of those puzzles were hard.  And when I'd get stuck, I'd start looking for the button to switch to another color.  Duh!  Nonograms made by 8 Floor Games don't have multiple colors.

I'm going to start Final Cut: The True Escapade Collector's Edition tonight.  I want to finish up all the series that are no longer being continued.  I think getting them moved into the completed column would clarify things in regards to just where I stand with ongoing series.

I also want to play Queen's Garden Halloween this month.

Epistory eventually came up with a proper screen for me but it was so slow like that ABC Murders was. I now know it's because there's not enough memory allocated to my virtual windows but I'm not allocating more as then my Mac is slow!

ETA: Stusue, probably as well about Epistory because if it involves typing I only have one hand to type with as 90% of the time Snoozle is in my other arm!

Morning, Fudge!      I hope you wake up all better today!

BFG has Epistory today!  And on a BP Monday!  And it's only an SE!

Have you heard from GH about Grim Legends 1?  I got a reply today!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I have finished:

Rainbow Mosaics- Blooming Garden.Very fun!!!
Spirit of Revenge- Cursed Castle PE. A bit "old school" but very good.
Vacation Adventures- Cruise Director 3. Ok.
Grim Facade- The Artist and the Pretender PE Liked it very much.Fun MiniGames!
I liked the Sheeps Room (with the rollerblades).

I had to dex Mystika 3. After 103 levels it suddenly stopped working !   I checked  in the forum and noticed that others had the same problem.

I also like Epistory, but the first time I tried it,it looked like an Alpha with only letters and numbers instead of the story. I checked on the Steam forum and discovered it was because of my Swedish keyboard.
I started with a new name to get the story. The fun thing is that I found it easier the first time
(I actually been qualified as a secretary).

I agree that the new Gizmo is hard. If you want to have all the medals, you have to replay several times.
I may finish some day...

Lilyr, good of you to finish Sliders  I have only finished 233 so far...

Have any of you tried Lily's Epic Quest? It look childish, but I found it very hard. I had to replay as early as level 4

Yep, Anki, I tried it and found it annoying.

At first I thought, yay, I love M3s where you have to dig down and loved how different it was.  But then I played a few levels and decided that it wasn't for me.  I hated only being able to see such a small area of the entire board, and not knowing in which direction to dig so that you didn't run out of moves/time (I forget) before you found whatever you had to find for that level.  I don't know how many levels I played but decided that it wasn't for me, that it was too frustrating for my - obviously - short patience level.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I did hear back from Patrick, stusue. He said it didn't look like they'd be getting the first one but would expect to get the next one if it becomes available.

Fudge, I also heard from Patrick, who gave me a different reply!

This is the reply I got ...

"I have just spoken to that team in charge of content and there is no current plans, however, they are going to ask for these games the next time that they speak to the developers, so hopefully we will see them soon."

And the first one's the best one!  imho  In my top 3!

OH! This was my exact reply:

"I spoke to the content team and unfortunately it doesn't look like we will be getting the first one, however, we would expect to get any new releases in the series when they are available."

Maybe because 2 of us asked they are going to try!

Fudge, my reply was sent at ... Oct 3, 00:46 PDT ...   Was yours before or after that?

I'm playing Vengeance: Lost Love and it's really good, especially for a straight SE!

I'd better get back to it ...
