Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Anki -- 48 days? Giood lord!  Welcome back.  Maybe it's time for a lightning rod!  Why does it take so long to get it back up and running?  I can't imagine cooking Christmas dinner with only 2 burners.  Good for you!

I'm glad you had a bunch of games downloaded.  The guy who made CLUTTER says there will be a save button in the next CLUTTER  game.  There might be one in the new game that he released.  It's jigsaws and what he calls "slider" puzzles -- the pictures that are cut into strips.  That's just out on his site.  It'll come to BFG soon.  I've got 322 of 545 finished in CLUTTER V.

It's good to have you back.   I've been wondering where you've been.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Hello Anki   Glad to see you back.   How awful losing all that the lightning strike took away from you.  Must have been a long 48 days.       At least you could keep playing your d/l games.

wendy...I tried looking for the built in walkthrough in SH vs JtR and wasn't able to find it.    I seem to recall one game that I played had a built in walkthrough, but can't remember if it was Sherlock Holmes vs Arsene Lupine  or  Dracula Origin.

I finished replaying True Fear: Forsaken Souls CE.  Goblinz on their facebook page mentioned the 2nd game might come out in March so replayed to be caught up to date.  Was good 2nd time through too.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Wow, Anki, hadn't realized you had been gone so long.   Hard to imagine no internet for that long.
I've been playing Rainforest Adventure M3 with Funpass off and on.  It had good reviews but I'm bored to death so I'm quitting.  All you do is turn all the squares gold and not much in the way of excitement in power ups.  GH has Eventide Fables CE today so I'm downloading that but I'm still several games behind.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Hi Anki Gosh, I wouldn't have been able to cope like you had to!!! What a nightmare for you, glad it's sorted now.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I've just finished Temple of Life: The Legend of Four Elements CE Really liked it, lots of good puzzles.

Downloaded from GH 9 Clues 2 Played the first and didn't realise there was a second), Sable Maze: Sullivan River CE (played the SE and loved it so it will be nice to play the SE) and Eventide: Slavic Fable CE. I think I'll play Eventide next. So much choice and so many games! Certainly pleased I got a Funpass

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I liked Temple of Life, too, FudgeChi.
There's actually 3 "9 Clues" games, The Ward and Serpent Creek are the others.  GH has been stepping up their game, lately, and I'm very happy with the value I'm getting for my entertainment dollars.  We spent $60 for hubby to get the year of XBOX live and he gets 2 free games a month with that so we're both set for the year.
I finished the main game of Witches Legacy Lair of the Witch.  I've quit buying this series because there's not really any story to the game, but since it was at GH....  It was a busy game, morphs and collectable puzzle pieces.  I missed some for sure, they continue in the bonus game but I don't know if I will play it, probably not since I still have Spear of Destiny and Eventide.  I have to use credits there in the next couple days, I'll probably get M3s, two new ones just came out there that look alright, I'll have to quick demo them.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

GH also has the Mortimor Beckett series and some Nancy Drews.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Thanks for the welcome back

I have finished Fantasy Mosaics 12- Parallel Universes. It was fun but they´re always the same.

Lilyr, regarding the repair of the internet: they keeped pushing forward the date five times! The first date was January 7 and we thought that was a long time... and thanks for the info regarding Joe´s game!

I also liked Temple of Life.

Have anyone tried the FTP Sir Match-a-Lot?  We have a love-hate relationship  I don't like it, but can't stop playing. It's a match-3 from Elephant.

I somehow missed Immortal Love- Letter From the Past CE and did the demo yesterday. I liked it very much, definately on my To Buy list.

Right now I'm going through all the demos from  BFG and also started to play Nonograms- Wolf's Stories, fun but hard as you have mentioned.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

BOGO this weekend at BFG.  I have 2 PCCs that need to be used this month but I don't know if there's enough games I would want to get to bother to rejoin and fill a card.  I'll probaby just save my GCC toward True Fear 2 when it comes out.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Thanks Wendy, I'll try some of the Mortinor Beckett games. Never played those. Played a few Nancy Drew.
Finish Eventide: Slavic Fable this morning. I thought I wasn't going to like it at first but then I got into it and enjoyed it. The puzzles are pretty easy.

Now I've just finished 9 Clues: The Ward. LOVED it. Missed a good few collectibles. I always miss some!

I've not tried Sir-Match-a-Lot, Anki. I have a love/hate with Elephant altogether thanks to the last update for Midnight Castle!!!! At least it cured me of my addiction!
