I'm so sorry oscar! Yikes! You certainly have put up with a lot from him. And the fun (huge amount of sarcasm here) just keeps coming. Yeah. The tree probably needs to come down.

Well the tree guy is coming Sunday early aft. and I have to work 12 - 5 so he should be all done by the time I get home. Hopefully the boys won't be too freaked out about all the coming and going. They may actually be better coming in at it from the empty lot behind the house.

How does the tree look now since the tree guys came? Nice that the insurance paid for it.

They came Saturday just before I left for work, which was fine. He told me that the insurance company was only allowing him to take down that hanging portion if it posed a danger. I guess it did because they did remove it. So I'm left with a mangled fence partially crushed shed, damaged shingles on the side and a hole in the siding. So now I wait to see whether the damage is more than $1000 (my deductible) I'm worried water has gotten up under the damaged shingles and in the hole in the siding. I'm a little huh? that they are not coming back to assess anything now the tree is gone. How do they know about water damage or what has been damaged in the shed? The bad thing is that if they decide to pay for the shed they will pull it down and I am not capable of building a new one myself. I'll wait to hear from the ins co. They asked my what was in my shed big thing wise and my tires and lawnmower are there but they appear to be fine. At this point I need to know what their position is. It may just be more economical for me to patch the hole maybe with epoxy, and have a roofer fix up the edge and the fence can be fixed up I think. Too much monetary stuff at once this year Plus I have to take Tank to the vet. I'm a little worried about him. He seems to have this cough that comes on after exertion. Usual a sign of heart problems in dogs.

My sister passed shortly before midnight last night. She died on her father's birthday, her daughter's birthday is today. April 1st is the birthdays of my other niece's daughter and husband, and my late husband passed on the 2nd. A really eventful week in my family.

I am so sorry to hear that, Wendy.
It's ridiculous, Oscar. You're having to pay your deductible when it's your neighbours fault! I do hope it's not heart problems for Tank, we'll keep our fingers and paws crossed.

I'm so sorry Wendy. The first week in April certainly is eventful in your family.
oscar -- Yikes! That's quite a bit of damage. I hope things can be easily fixed and you don't have water damage. I hope Tank's cough isn't due to heart problems.

So sorry Wendy to hear about your sister plus it must be doubly hard with all the other things happening at that time every year.
Oscar, when it rains, it pours, huh. Don't know why some neighbor have to be %$&* ~ I know my son told me when he and his ex were married, they had one similar that had beefs about everything they wanted to do on their adjoining fenceline.

wendy...I'm very sorry to hear about your sister passing.
Oscar...What a mess you are dealing with. I hope it all works out for you regarding the insurance and repairs. If the hole in your siding is not very big, maybe use a little duct tape in a matching color for a temporary stop gap to help with no water getting in that way until it gets repaired.
I hope Tank will be okay and his cough turns out to be nothing. I was wondering how your guys were doing after I saw you post their picture.

I am reading a great book on Feng Shui that I found in the library. It is called Feng Shui Simply: Change Your Life From the Inside Out by Cheryl Grace. It is so good that when I give the book back to the library, I'll be buying myself my own copy.
