This household is crazy.  We're sharing with a couple in their 20s and their little boy, Joey.  Joey's 2nd birthday was yesterday and all the mom did was scream at the dad all day long.  Swell birthday.  He didn't even get Halloween until Grandma came and picked him up at 8pm.  Disgusting, at least  he's too young to realize it's his birthday and not just another normal day in this house.   He's having his party today, so hopefully she will be civil for most of the day.  From what I've been told (and seen)  both parents have good reason to be mad at each other, cheating has gone on in the past, and thievery, and there's no trust between them.  The dad is the quiet type but the mom is a nagger/cuss at top of lungs type.  She spends some good time with the kid when she's around but she's always taking off every chance she gets.  When dad walks in the door after a day of construction work and a commute through heavy traffic she starts in on him right away.  She can't comprehend that he needs a shower and a few minutes to relax.  It's immediately "Steven, take your son.  Steven, watch your kid, I've been with him all day (not!)." in a loud, nasty, abrasive tone.  It would never in a million years occur to her to go get him a drink and ask him how his day went.  She did have a horrible upbringing, though, so she just does what she knows.  It's a sad situation all the way around.

Absolutely amazing that it is November 4 and all my windows are wide open and its back to short sleeves and shorts weather.  The last few days have been gorgeously sunny and 20C. ( I live in Ontario)

 I had beautiful weather too.  Wednesday we hit a record.  Today is warm and rainy.

Wendy, I saw a game review from Meg a few days ago so I'd say she's alive and kicking.  I hope things are going well for her and hubbie.  I also saw a review from someone whom I think is Freyasmom just a few days ago, so I think she's okay as well.  As for Puzzledone, I have no idea.

I've got really curly hair and I've just been told that curly hair doesn't keep its colour very well, which finally explains why, when I get a really dark blond colour, it goes a much lighter colour very, very quickly.
