The floor looks great Sun.
well, that's good that it all worked out in the end and at least it is all done now.
wendy...Neat informational things that one can find on the internet. Never know when removing a tick will come in handy and at least you don't need special tools to do it with. Also, sounds like a real treat to spend time in New Hampshire with just the hubby and the dogs enjoying the fall foliage. Enjoy.
I have been spending my time playing catch up with household stuff and errands...I really need to organize my time much better.

I started making soaps thinking it would be a fun hobby...not the cold process method where you have to use lye, but more like the melt and pour kind. Where you melt the soap base and add essential oils and color to it and shape it in different molds. I made a brown sugar and vanilla soap that turned out really well.
Anyways, I was starting to get a collection of essential oils and thought I might try my hand at using them to help with different ailments like headaches and stress and sleeplessness. While searching the internet I found a free online class called Introduction to Essential Oils at Aromahead.com and thought since it is free I will take that class so I can have a better understanding on using essential oil and make sure I do it safely. I bought a essential oil Geranium for a soap I was planning on making and the salesperson was telling me all the other uses I could use it for which is why I got interested in learning more.

That's interesting Sun, I'm going to check that out. I've been investigating as I'd like to make bath bombs and some scrubs. Along with soap, but like you not the lye involved ones. One scrub in particular I'm going to make for a friend. It is supposed to help with sinus headaches which are a bane for her in the winter.

Off to Rhode Island and my new life today. Rhode Island is the smallest state. It is only 37 miles (60 km) wide and 48 miles (77 km) long, yet the state has a tidal shoreline on Narragansett Bay and the Atlantic Ocean of 384 miles (618 km). It was the first state to declare independence from Britain. I've only ever been there for a couple days at a time, to see hubby's friends/family, so I'm looking forward to the chance to explore.

oscar...I tried making bath bombs a couple of times. Neither time has it turned out just right. The first time I added too much liquid and the bath bomb expanded after it was molded and the second time not enough liquid and it was too dry and broke apart while trying to get it out of the mold. I can't find the delicate balance of dry and liquid mix so that they come out just right yet. Good luck on the scrub.
wendy...I knew RI was the smallest state. I just didn't think it was that tiny.

I just got a new phone with internet, yea. We have a new TMobile plan, for $100 we get 10 gbs of data for each of our phones, along with unlimited minutes and text. For another $10/line we can double the data to 20 gigs. Hubby's been grumpy when I've used his data on the computer, now I have plenty of my own, and he's going from 5 to 10 and if he needs more I can turn on my hotspot and he can use mine. And if I have extra data at the end of the month I can download games with it. I've been using about 3 or 4/month being conservative, now I don't have to be... well, it depends on how much Netflix I want to watch.

Actually, Lily, apart from a month back home over Christmas, when I got called back saying that Mum had only days to live, I've been here since July LAST YEAR! So actually well OVER a year!
As to how I feel, well, let's just say that feeling like death warmed up doesn't even come close. I just hope I don't get any worse so that I can get everything organised before I go and am well enough for my trip home, which is 3 planes and over 30 hours!
