You haven't ever spayed or neutered before? It's always one of the first things on my agenda, don't need any unplanned puppies or kittens around with so many in the shelters already. Doesn't seem to bother them much at all, although I always feel bad for the boys, they must really wonder where their parts disappeared to. I took my boys in together so they would be recovering at the same time and not bothering each other, they seemed fine in just a few hours. I do wish I could have babies from my Chihuahua, though, but their constant humping each other was driving me crazy.
I have help for this week so that's nice. Not that I need it but he brings in way more money than I do. I can get Mommy/Daddy money but not much teenage/20 something girl money, he gets loads of it.
No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

It's my stepson's 16th birthday today. Never met him. He was placed with his maternal grandparents as a child, my husband had court ordered visitation but he got in a car accident and couldn't make it to see him for a short while cause of no transportation (different cities) and after that the grandparents wouldn't let him see the kid anymore, told him "Get a lawyer". After I met him I gave him money for a lawyer, they went to court but the grandparents told the judge the kid didn't want to see him so they said he didn't have to. What a crock. It's ruined my husband's state of mind, pretty much drove him crazy, he loves his son so much and can't see him and has totally missed his childhood. I told him send him a message today, he has a facebook page, what the hell can it hurt?
No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Does anyone know if lilyr was planning to be away for awhile. I just was thinking I hadn't seen any posts lately and checked and it was May 1 when she last posted. Hope everything is ok.

oscar...I am doing a bit of paper clearing out & organizing so thanks for the info. I have a hard time getting rid of papers like this so I tend to keep them.
wendy...I hope that your hubby was able to send his son a message on his birthday. Just I am thinking about you and wish you a Happy Birthday would mean a lot and little messages during the year to keep the line of communication open with his son.
teeitup...I think lilyr is all right. I see her posting regularly somewhere else.

wendy...While searching for a homemade bubble bath recipe I have come across a website that made me think of you. It is called littlehouseliving.com It has a section about living fulltime in a RV. It also has a bunch of other things, recipes and such that I have been reading up over there a lot.

On Sunday my husband, son & DiL all went to the Cleveland Zoo. We been there many times except for my DiL, she has never seen it. It was SO HUMID outside. It felt like we were inside the rain forest (which is another part of the zoo) and pretty neat to see.
The zoo lake was a active place as you can see. The turtles were out sunning themselves on the log.
So beautiful and just lounging around in the shade.
Caught this guy going for a swim. I don't blame him as it was so HUMID out.
When we were younger we used to going camping a lot in the mountains were these guys live. I never saw one in the wild, but one time at night when we were in the tent and had our dog with us. We heard something drinking out of his dog bowl. We never got to see what it was and in the morning our cooler was attacked with claw and bite marks. I always wondered if it was a bear or maybe a raccoon.
