Lily, if you are looking for an easy HOPA, Id have to say Detective Quest-Crystal Slipper is not it. And from the reviews I read, even though there are the people who give 5 stars to anything, there were a lot of people who felt the same way I did for once.
Im playing Fantastic Creations-House of Brass SE . I have always liked this game just never got around to playing it and I like it more now that I am. I love having to find 12 of this object or 12 of that especially when its cryptic. Find 12 items that can spin or roll or 12 silvery objects. Only thing about this game is that it has no option for difficulty so there are sparkles but its soo good that I don't care.
I played Inbetween Land and I remember it being really really short and I liked it up until then but it was so abrupt IMO. I think I gave it 3 stars. but I did like i better than crystal slipper!
For my TM im playing burger shop. I was playing fairies for my match 3 but its repetitive and I feel like its just going to be one of those games that I play when I get to it like Sparkle. I find I don't want to play Sparkle all the time but when I do I like it.

Wow! I just looked at the games I've finished and the games I've purchased. SO FAR this month I've finished 8 games and only purchased two! Those numbers will each go up by one (at least). If CS can fix BEDTIME STORIES I'll finish it -- or delete it (and count it as finished if I get a credit for it). I have 4 punches so I'll buy at least one more game.

I got stuck in Inbetween Land and can't find a thread with the same problem. I have to direct a claw to pick something up and can't seem to get the moves right. Guess I'm going to have to skip it, so there goes that achievement. Nice little extra, having achievements in a regular game. I've already had to hit the hint button, now I'll have to skip, so phooey
I've spent a good part of the day starting Farm Up FTP. Can you cancel an active task? I thought I read about it but now I can't find the post. It's like a farm TM without the TM part.

I completed a couple of games this week. Both of them were very easy and relaxed.
Hodgepodge Hollow
Super cute HOG that I had great fun playing. It really didn't get difficult at any point, but that didn't make it not fun. It's nice to have something a little slower paced and relaxing. Just when I felt like it was starting to get a little bit repetitive later on, it ended. It was pretty short overall, but that fit the very casual feeling of the game.
I often like HO scenes where you look for one object multiple times, as long as that's not all the game is. This game had a lot of those scenes, but also had enough other stuff (more traditional list HO scenes, some follow-the-directions potion making, little puzzles) that it didn't get old.
There was none of the extra stuff that some games have: no scores, timers, or difficulty levels to choose from. Also no awards, collectibles, or achievements. Just really beautiful looking, fairly easy HO scenes and then some simple puzzles. This would be a great game for younger players just starting.
Crop Busters
The last time I was in the mood for a farming TM I tried this, which turned out to be a M3. I ended up playing through the whole trial anyway and bought it a while later because I thought it was a very well made game.
It's an untimed M3 and I found it to relaxed, but not boring. I liked the look and the sound effects, and there were good power-ups, bonuses, and level goals. It never got very challenging at all, which was my only real problem with it. I still liked it, but with this game I do wish it had gotten harder before the end. Personally, I prefer to play most games with a timer, and I think having the option to play either timed or untimed would have worked better for me. Still a fun game that I liked playing.
I didn't intentionally choose to play such laid back and easy games at the same time. I'll look for something a bit more challenging next. Any suggestions for challenging games you'd especially recommend (in any genre other than HOPA)?

Ok I just finished Fantastic Creations-House of Brass and it started out pretty fantastic but it sure didn't end that way! It took me 2.5 hours maybe to play it? Its just going up and down on an elevator and the story line was pretty good but then it just ends and the credit comes on..I know this game is older but come on! I gave it 4 stars though because I liked the unique hidden object scenes and I totally liked the game until it abruptly got weird and then ended. Talk about a let down.
I have played 4 hidden object games so far this month and I'm 2/4 in terms of liking them. I need better standards LOL

jen, the hardest, funnest best game I've ever played was Carribean Hideaway. Its a match 3 game and it was my first match 3 game. Guess I like to start with the hard ones LOL as I started with a really hard large adventure game when I first got into those but anyways. Carribean Hideaway is awesome. The sound effects are great, the levels will make you want to tear your hair out in places but its so addicting that you'll want to beat it. I beat it and I felt so accomplished and its probably my favorite match 3 game and I can't wait to play it again LOL
Oh & I loved Hodgepodge hollow It felt so special playing it

Meg, I felt the same about House of Brass. Liked it at first, then ?
Jen, for a harder M3 I would suggest Hidden Wonders of the Deep. There's 3 of them, the first 2 are timed. You only have so many lives to get through the level, if you can't do it you start at the beginning of that level again. A couple boards in the 6 level had a lot of people stuck. 6-4 if I remember right. And that was years ago, so it was memorable!
For a TM, I thought Diaper Dash was too hard and gave up on it. Cake Mania series is hard. I loved Airport Mania, it's what got me started on TMs, so probably too easy, but great fun.

I finshed the bonus on Sunhook Spire, it was a pretty good length. There is a bonus section that opens after called Glassworks which is quite fun if you like jigsaws. I think there is about a dozen puzzles to do with different shaped pieces, like building a stain glass window.
I'm not sure what I'll start now. Maybe Gardenscapes 2. I lost all my progress when I changed computers. And maybe Inbetween Land. I have too many to choose from it's a little overwhelming. I have 87 unplayed games and the unplayed demos are starting to pile up. Fortunately I have only bought two games this month. It would have been three but i didn't notice the time on my coupon and it expired on me.

jen -- I loved HODGEPODGE HOLLOW too.
meg -- sorry you didn't like HOUSE OF BRASS. You too Wendy. meg -- I guess you didn't know there was a walkthrough for INBETWEEN LAND. It's on Gamezebo. Or maybe you wouldn't have used it?

Meg, I'm going to try a couple of the games you mentioned. Congrats for beating Caribbean Hideaway; that's my all-time most frustrating failure; still stuck on level--I don't even remember, 80-something.
I notice My Singing Monsters is listed as today's #1 download; not sure if I believe it. However, it sure does grow on you! There's always something new; I just got the time machine. What a hoot!
