stusue, what did you think about Redemption Cemetary. I really like the series because the game is broken up into sections by where you go, like separate little stories. Is this one like that also. Some of the reviews said it wasn't like the others. Do you know what they meant by that?

Sorry, but I haven't played any of the others so I can't help you there.  I liked the game enough to get it as an SE.  As I said, unless there's a super long, really interesting bonus chapter I won't be getting the CE as you don't have to search for the collectibles, but just find them in areas where you zoom in and they're hiding underneath an inventory item.  Although I did like doing up my snowball.

Next TM I'm playing is Rush For Gold: Alaska...long overdue.

Barre, I can't believe you're going to play a game that I've actually finished!    Wonders will never cease.

stusue - I played the CE for The Christmas Carol - the main game was really long. The bonus chapter was a some what seperate story involving the secret lifes of cats. It was really cute. Rather long IMO. Definitely worth the CE price in my opinion even if you're not fond of the morphing penguins.

Thanks so much for the info!  I loved the morphing penguins so you've helped me decide to get the CE ... should we ever have another BOGOF ... or the SE if not.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Today I played Queen's Tales: The Beast and the Nightingale.  It was exactly what I wanted to play today - a fun, fairly short, fairly easy game.  I really enjoyed it and had a lot of fun, even LOL at times.

It was really weird, though, near the end ... I clicked on what looked like a stone owl on the side of the fountain, not expecting anything to happen as the cursor hadn't turned into a magnifying glass, when, with a loud ping, it just disappeared.  I thought it must have gone into my inventory but no.  I never saw it again in the game.  So I have no idea what that was all about.  It was really weird.    The only think I could think of was that maybe it was a lone collectible that showed up in the SE when it shouldn't have, but I can't remember what the collectibles were in the CE.

Next up for me is Sea Legends: Phantasmal Light CE as I want to get the 'evil' ending before Wendy forgets what the 'good' ending was.

Re: Finish your games challenge

stusue and misscatlady -- Thanks!  I'll get the CE of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.  Ahd it sounds as if I'll enjoy QUEEN'S TALES.

I just checked on FAIRWAY TEE TO PLAY and I need 125,000 golf bucks to open all the bonus courses.  I only have 6,000 at the moment.  I'm determined to finish it though.  Besides I'd be playing the other FAIRWAY anyway.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I'm trying to get used to my new computer,  which has Windows 8.  I love it,  but sadly,  I have to start all my games over from the beginning,  especially frustrating with  My singing Monsters,  on which I was on the highest level.  I'm playing  Island Tribe 5,  which involves a search for Atlantis.  It seems funny to have sawmills at the bottom of the sea.  The little guys have clear bowls over their heads,  somehow ennabling them to breathe.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I have Windows 8 on the desktop, 7 on the laptop, and the old desktop had vista.  I don't even know enough to know the difference, but I have a hard time with 8, I just want a desktop, not all those pictures on that screen, and it seems harder to look into your computer.

I'm playing Christmas Carol, it's such a wonderful, beautiful, magical game that I don't want it to end.  I just fixed the past, and now it's going in a different direction, I'm loving it.  It's a game that I want to play slowly and savor.  I was thinking about quitting for the night since I'm starting a whole new area and this scene is so pretty I want to look at it again tomorrow.  It has a beautiful twinkling Christmas tree and a cat in a basket.  When I pet the cat it meows.  My Chihuahua is intrigued with the meow.  He ran around growling, wanting to go outside and find the cat.  I put him on my lap, the speakers are right there, and kept petting the cat.  Every time he would prick his ears and cock(let's find out if that gets censored) his head back and forth.  Totally adorable and funny, so I want hubby to see it later.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Wendy,  You've inspired me to try  Christmas Carol.  It seems very nice;  perhaps I'll get it when there's a good sale.  Meanwhile,  I bought  Adelantado 3,  and am first playing the second,  which I hadn't finished.  A wonderful game,  much better than the first,  which had some aggravating features.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Sandhan, I've never liked The Christmas Carol story so I almost didn't demo the game.  It's a very similar style to The Nutcracker, just with morphing penguins instead of the collectible dolls.  And it's broken into the different times.  I found it easy to remember what to do and how to get there.
I have the first two Adelentados but have only played a few minutes of the first. Everyone who likes this series seems to say every book is better than the last.
I have Island Tribe 3, I think it is, still unplayed.

I don't know what to do with this weekend's sale.  I don't want to spend money, I'd have to renew and spend $2 more bucks or possiby $4 so that's $9 or $11.  Doesn't sound like much but this year it is.   And it's for CEs only, I want to stick mostly to SEs.  If I don't rejoin I lose 4 punches on my card.  They were from two PCCs that were given to me, so I'm not really out anything, but it still irks me.  I imagine they will have the SEs on sale for end of year,  but I wanted a real BOGO that included both.  Monday will be the 30th, so I guess I'll make a list and see what happens then. I have a PCC or two that have to be used in January so that adds to my dilemma.
