Wendy, that's how I found out about BFG ~ someone mentioned it in the chat box and being curious, I had to go check it out and the rest is history.  Think they might have been talking too about Big Sea games as I did some of those for awhile.  Loved the Leprechaun one where the leprechauns would pop in and out all over the screen ~ really good time waster but it was fun.

I'm a little bummed too about the Xmas sale as I was hoping to pick up some more CE's; my membership charges me again on the 27th which is before the weekend and I kinda wanted to see what Jan. 1 would bring and then I could cancel before the next charge.  Have some PCC's I need to use so even if there isn't another BOGO, I will just use the GCC/PCC's and be happy with the ones I did pick up.

Hi everyone! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays  My brother couldn't come up for christmas itself so he came up December 20-24th. He just left but we had a great time just the 4 of us. Usually its the 4 of us and then his girlfriend and my fiance but it was a  nice change to just being able to spend time with each other. My dad's birthday was last week. He just turned 62. So thats why I haven't been around much. 

I played Strange Discoveries-Aurora Peak SE and although I found it quite fun at first, it got really dumb and I even found myself identifying more with the "bad guy" then the person I was saving lol The ending was so dumb! Im not sure if it made more sense in the CE but I used to be a big fan of VAST games and now Im starting to really dislike them. 

I waited until Christmas to see if we'd have a really good sale and 60% off retail price is not what I was expecting but then I went on their homepage to see it was $7.99 for CE and $3.99 SE for the US and thats not 60% off retail price so I might take advantage of that and get ONE of the CEs on my list. I need to even out my punch card so come BPM, I can actually get a free game without starting another card. 

Whats the xmas present code? I checked my email but it said 6 of their favorite games were on sale for low discounts but I can't figure out where that is because clicking it does nothing. Maybe they meant iphone/ipad. Too many platforms now. 

I am also playing The Tiny Tale which I was totally in love with until I got to the 3rd chapter and it has HUGE spiders and if they reach your tree house where you start, then you lose time and you have to use your mana to do a spell that makes them trapped and your magic guy can get them but its almost impossible and Im stuck and can't continue on. I realized with every flower you not only get to redress your guys BUT the weapons you choose make them faster and better so without getting these flowers I cannot continue. 

Im not going to get the new Christmas Stories game because it just doesn't appeal to me. I have seen A Christmas Carol, the play hundreds of times. We used to go see it every year in theatre when I was a kid and this game plays slow for me. I don't feel the same AWWW I did last year with the nutcracker. So I might just play Fates Carnival for Christmas and be done with it. We'll see.

I hope everyone has a great time with their families or whatever they choose to do or have a great day even if you don't celebrate the same as I do or others. Since we already celebrated, my family and I are just going to relax. I will play some games, sleep in and take some nice walks as its 65 degrees outside and warm. Last year it was snowing. Oh how times change.

Merry Christmas everyone  We had a cool front go through so it's in the low 70s and I got to wear my winter jammies last night.  Didn't do too well on presents this year.  I had bought hubby slippers, he didn't like the stye but before I could return them to Penneys the store caught fire and they're closed for who knows how long so he's keeping the slippers, the next closest one is 20 miles away, round trip gas would cost almost as much as the slippers did  Hubby's car battery died at his buddy's house last night, so he didn't get me anything.  Both my husbands did their shopping late on Xmas Eve.  So now I guess I will be getting a battery for Xmas, lucky me  It will match the two new tires quite nicely  I think we're having homemade corn dogs for Xmas dinner.
Meg, I'm sorry you didn't like the Christmas Carol.  It's not based on the movie, it's about how Scrooge proposed in his youth and something happened to mess it up.  It's up to us to straighten everything out and get Scrooge his girl back.  I like it just as well, if not better, than the Nutcracker.

Wendy, I just went to BFG to see what all the fuss was about but Nilosh's review has been totally deleted.  Not just locked but deleted!  Like, gone!  It's not there anymore.  Not just the Christmas wishes but the entire post has gone, review included.  I've never seen that happen before. 

Did you manage to see what Nilosh (and maybe others?) had written before it was deleted?  Someone referred to it as "religious diatribe" but wasn't it just a "Merry Christmas"?  I can't believe what a couple of the fishies wrote.  I can't believe how angry they were.   

But the Christmas thread is still there and hasn't been deleted.  Everyone just seemed to have a problem with it being in the reviews thread. 

What a lot of kerfluffle about nothing.  And Nilosh, who's one of the great regular reviewers, is leaving the pond, saying there's too much negativity and nastiness to make it a welcoming place anymore, but that he/she would still try to post reviews.  All over a "Merry Christmas"????    I say Happy Hanuka (sp.?) to my Jewish friends, even though I'm not Jewish.
