I found the Sneak Peek for Awakenings FTP at It's very pretty, we're restoring the kingdom while Sophia is out fighting evil. If you click your avatar it has your friend code, mine is. 22 5839. Don't know yet how ''into' this I'll get, but I figured if we wanted to try one together that needed friends, this might be a good one.

Wendy...I finished Legacy: Witch Island and agree with everything Stusue said about it. I think it is a good game to play if you are tired and don't want to be challenged very much, but still want to play something. I was starting to feel pretty much burnt out from my games and now after I finished Witch Island I feel refreshed and begun playing Phantom of the Opera. Loving it so far and I see what you mean about the tough HO scenes.
Speaking of FtP games I might be interested in playing the Awakenings one or Spirits of Blackpool when they come to the pc.
stusue...I d/l Nearwood premium edition on my GameHouse FunPass. Will be playing it after Phantom of the Opera. Only played 10 minutes so far so I wouldn't tempt myself too much and keep playing.

I was also thinking about some of the others we haven't heard from in awhile like Puzzledone and also jkuci & gamergirl.

sunshinej, did you play all the extra levels of those minigames that have them once you'd finished the main game in Legacy: Witch Island? Did you manage all of them and thus get the achievement? As I posted earlier, I didn't manage 2 of them. How much more difficult were those extra levels to those in the game????
I hope Nearwood lives up to your expectations after all our hype. It's still in my top 3. And isn't FunPass especially great for all the Platinum games?
But don't forget to find all 111 Snoop-Sees (1-4 per scene) so that you get to read their entire history in the book as it's a really interesting backstory for them and Nearwood.
Have fun with Phantom!

Another FTP
as TGT. Weren't we promised that wouldn't happen? I read that this one requires an internet connection to play, I can only play that type in the winter, anyway.
When there's a F2P as TGT, they've been giving us a soft release. Today's is an M3, In Search Of Treasure: Pirate Stories.
Finished the main game of Enigmatis: The Mists of Ravenwood Collector's Edition. Had planned to play bonus chapter today, along with some Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin' and Found: A Hidden Object Adventure.
Those games will have to wait - I need to find something to use my pcc on.

Awakenings is available now, you just have to use the link
Valdy and Govols are playing it. I'm planning on trying Spirits of Blackpool when it comes out, too. I don't really like this type of game that much, I like one with an actual ending, but it seems to be what they want to shove down our throats, so I figure I'll play some of the ones where spending money doesn't seem to be needed. If you get into several of them you can just bounce back and forth, letting your energy replenish while you're playing another. They might be biting themselves in the butt that way, the cheapos like me will make the rounds of them over and over and never spend a dime. I've never done any of the FB games, they seem to be much more pushier with the friend requests and such. My buddy plays Battle Pirates on there, they have a chat feature and he really likes it but I'm not into battleships so much. They make serious fun out of the people who spend money. I do kinda like this sort of game in the morning when I get up. You don't have to think as much or remember a plot or what the story is and what you're supposed to bedoing. In the evening I want a real game, though.

I'm planning on trying this one when I get the chance. I also want to check out Dark Manor: A Hidden Object Mystery and Farm Up. That's also on my To Do list for today. I'm seriously thinking of dropping my membership for awhile until I have a list of CE's I want AND SE's to use the resulting pcc's on.

stusue...Not every minigame has extra levels. I am still working on geting that achievement, but I have done a few of them. The matching game had 2 more extra levels. The Second level was match 3 and the 3rd level was a match 4. The slider type puzzle where you move objects around to move the piece out of the box had 5 more levels. I did the second level of that one and it was harder than the one in the game.
Thanks I am really enjoying Phantom and what I have seen so far of Nearwood looks really good.

Wendy...Thanks for providing the link to Awakenings. I am interested, but still don't know yet to take the plunge. I like games with a beginning and a end instead of just going on and on. Plus I don't really like all this friend stuff in the game. I am Still waffling about it.
Somewhere people are spending money on these FtP games otherwise why would they bother making them. We just hear of the people who don't. I bet that the people who do keep real quiet about it. My husband is doing a slots game on his phone and I was joking with him about if people actually spent real money to win some fake coins. At least when his coins are gone he is done until he has waited for more.

sunshinej, I've played all the extra levels, but I FAILED (I know! Hard to believe, isn't it?!) on the final levels of 2 of the minigames.
I can't remember what minigames they were or why I FAILED
but I think they may have been timed or something, or were maybe just really hard. Whatever, I've obviously blocked them from my consciousness due to embarrassment
but I just remember that I couldn't finish them after several tries and, as I wasn't having any fun playing them, I simply accepted that I'm totally inept
and moved on to another game. That's why I was wondering if you'd managed to finish all the extra levels. But boy were they harder than the levels in the main game, which were all sooooooooo easy.
