Re: Finish your games challenge

I started Sea Legends Phantasmal Light CE that I got for $2, thanks again, Stusue  I Wanted to punch the screen, though.  This game has the most unhelpful hint button.  Not only is it one of those "There's nothing to do here" , when there was something to do it wouldn't tell me what it was  It told me something along the lines of "You should look around here more".   Thank goodness I have the CE version with the strategy guide.   Sometimes it will show me something, sometimes not.  I started in the advanced mode and decided to switch to the easier one.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge

Woo Hoo! Thank you stusue!  Do I have to be a GameHouse member to demo the game?

I think I'll keep going on the HE game.  What I really want is a bright, fairytale, easy game. Lord knows I  have enough of them!I

The Christmas M3 (HOLIDAY BONUS GOLD) is going a bit better.  Thankfully it has a lot of power-ups.  It's no where near as good as SPOOKY BONUS was IMO.  Every so often you get a picture for your gallery that you can use as wallpaper.  Okay but they are just basic, sort of bleak, snow scenes.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I finished Luxor Evolved.  This is not a game for people who have a problem with a lot of flashing lights,  I'm suffering from sensory overload after playing it and will spend the rest of the evening with something calming like Jigsaws Galore.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I applaud you for sticking it out, Tirama.  I've never really played a marble popper except for some of Evy, and it never got fast, actually it only moved when you made a match and there's no actual shooting involved.

Re: Finish your games challenge

I finished Off The Record: Linden Shades CE.  The bonus chapter wasn't very long....under an hour.  I can't say I enjoyed this game very much, it was just okay for me.  I hated having to find those teeny tiny crayons because it wasn't easy and of course I didn't manage to find them all.  I thought the achievements were crazy....one for not opening the map?? ridiculous...how are we going to transport or see where we are going if we don't open the map.  Another one for skipping 5 puzzles?...why would I want to skip puzzles?   I'm glad the game is over.  Next time I should trust my instincts which told me not to buy the CE.

Next up is Living Legends: Frozen Beauty CE.  I heard this one is a good game...at least I liked it when I did the demo.

Wow, Tirama, you finished your Luxor games very quickly.  I'm still playing Luxor HD....I can't take too many levels at one time...I find that marble poppers is not really my kind of game so I'm not going to buy any more once I finish this one.

You're very welcome, lilyr  And no, you don't have to be a member to either demo a game or buy one from GameHouse, just like BFG.

I agree 100%, Wendy  Bravo, Tirama!  Years ago, when the very first Luxor was released (and there was a very similar one that came out just after that I also played ad nauseum but I can't remember what it was called now), I could play it for hours.  But I think I must have overdosed on it as I haven't liked playing any of those since.  However, I loved Evy as it was tactical, not fast, and I loved that, having as much time as I wanted/needed to plan my moves.  And it's a game that I've actually played and finished!

Re: Finish your games challenge

I have finished Hidden World (TM). It was OK. It was timed but very generous, in the later levels the timer started on 40-45 minutes!

Congratulations Tirama! I couldn´t even finish the demo, it was too hard for my eyes.
I still have Zuma but hardly never play it.

Stuesue, I´m downloading Dark Angels now

Re: Finish your games challenge

Anki, I played Hidden World as soon as it came out and I agree, it was OK.  I'm glad I didn't buy it as it's not something I'd play again but it was fun while I played it.  I just got sick and tired of having to click, click, click on all those ice balls that headed my way.

I hope you enjoy Dark Angels

Re: Finish your games challenge

Thanks, everybody.  It took me about 2 weeks to play the 3 Luxor games i own (and am I glad DH didn't want to get any more of them).  I plaed them on the easiest  difficulty level available.  My skills are probably good enough to get me through the next level up, but I'll never know because I'm not willing to invest any more time in these games.

As a reward, I'm going to play Punished Talents: Seven Muses Collector's Edition.  I don't often get to play a CE before the SE version is released.  LOL
