Just used 2 pcc's to get Mosaics Galore and Ancient Mosaic.

I'm somewhere in the 7th stage (there are 14) of Luxor: 5th Passage.

sunshinej - since I only get games on BPM and during CE sales, your system wouldn't work for me.
But since October, when I completed that Nancy Drew game, I have been challenging myself to play at least one ancient game each month.

I've been doing this challenge since Jan 1, 2012 because I was appalled at how much I had spent on CE's and how many of them I hadn't played. I only owned 149 games and thought I could play them all in one year. Hah! I added another 122 to my inventory. But I did manage to play/replay 179 games, and finished all the CE's I had bought prior to 2012.

A good portion of my oldest games are the sort of game that lasts forever. If I had to finish 5 of them before I could get another game, I'd probably never get another game. I've been working on Sudoku Latin Squares most of the year. Played 1500 boards and still have 50 boards at hard difficulty to play and then however many at Expert level. And how do you decide when you are finished playing games such as Scrabble?

At the moment, I have 63 games left to play or replay. Maybe 2014 will be the year I can say that all my games have been played?

I finished Stray Souls Stolen Memories last night and started playing a real oldie for me World Riddles Seven Wonders. I think it is my oldest unplayed game. Of course I kept saying at 1:30am just one more board.

I just recently finished Brunhilda, and while it was fun it did start to get very repetitive and I found myself skipping dialogue, of which there is a lot.

I'm replaying MCF Dire Grove, it's one of my first five games. In keeping with your spirit I also downloaded Fairies, Mystery of Cleopatra, and Nightfall Mysteries Curse of the Opera.

Wendy...HaHa Isn't that the truth. If one is going to go on a diet you just gotta indulge yourself beforehand.

I'm replaying MCF Dire Grove, it's one of my first five games. In keeping with your spirit I also downloaded Fairies, Mystery of Cleopatra, and Nightfall Mysteries Curse of the Opera.

I really liked Dire Grove. I can see why it is a classic.

Tirama...I think that's great that you have a system that you like..

Yeah, I guess it would only work with certain kind of games.

Sunshine - In the spirit of what you are doing I picked my oldest (that I could ascertain, I had to reload my gm so they are all the same date there) unplayed game and started it tonight. Its the Dreamatorium of Dr Magnus from late 2012. I think World Riddles is actually my oldest, I started that last night, but it is not something I would sit and play thru.

TiramaSue - I'm going to have to look at that Suduko, it sounds like a lot of bang for your buck.

I have finally finished Spooky Bonus.
The house looked very nice and spooky...

My oldest unfinished game is Venice Mystery which is very old, but I dexed it back then.
Later when it was a DD I looked in the forum and saw a cheat to prolong the time. I restarted it but that´s also a game where I play a level or two and then let it rest for a couple of months...

I downloaded Slotwords, too, that's one of my oldest unplayed. I don't know if it even has an end. You pick how many letters you want for that round, spin the wheel, it gives you that many and you make a word. I had to cheat and look up what A C C I T made. You can play it timed or relaxed.

Dire Grove only has a hint button for the HO scenes How old school. But it really makes you think more I had to use the walkthru a couple times and I'm actually wandering through the game looking for HO scenes to help me out. It's also neat that most of the things you get in the HOs are tools instead of the bizarre things they come up with now. It really has an eerie atmosphere. I played a little more of Motor Town but it's just not doing it for me. I think it's because of the story. It started with a nice storyline but it's disappeared. I'm just wandering around doing random stuff, whereas in Dire Grove you never lose sight of the story.

sunshinej - looks like I've unwittingly joined your challenge to some extent. The dates of purchase for the 3 Luxor games I'm playing are:

Luxor 3 (completed) - Sept 2011
Luxor: 5th Passage (in progress) - Dec 2010
Luxor Evolved (next up) - March 2012

The only games older than Luxor 5th passage that I haven't finished are the first Flux family ( I dexed it), Mahjong Towers Eternity (a game that was designed to take an eternity to finish), and Mahjong Holidays 2006 (the holiday version of Mahjong Towers Eternity)

Tirama, I'm ignoring Mahjong Towers Eternity, too. I remember I got it with a free code I found on the internet, and I've never looked at it. I think Slotwords you could probably play for an eternity, too, so I will probably just do a round or two every now and then and consider it played I want to finish up Motor Town and Dire Grove before I add anything else onto my plate. I'm also popping into Zombie Solitaire to try and get all perfects, and of course Farm Up, although I've quit doing much on my farm. I just keep main menu/resume to get a new random quest; most of them I can fulfill with what's already in my barn.
