Wow, lots of uproar over the reviewing the last few days at BFG. I've found over the years that if you start getting too popular as a reviewer you will soon start getting people complaining about you, guess it's true that everybody's a critic
Lots of HOs in Shadow Wolf. I just started a 4 hr. unlimited energy stint in Farm Up, I queued up all her tasks so I had a few minutes break, but it's back to farming I go.

Ya I saw that Wendy. Ridiculous imo. If you don't like it don't read it. Very simple. I just think some people love to spread their vitriol to compensate for their own issues. Let's beat up on someone who takes the time to review, we'll never have to see them face to face. And I guess there is no moderation. On the site I moderate you can not attack other posters. Those posts would be gone ASAP and a formal warning given to the reviewer as well for her name calling. It's like people dig out stuff they don't like just to complain. I read someone's comments on ERS FB comment. They posted it and said gag barf whatever and some negative comment. I'm not sure why if you don't like ERS you both with their FB page other than to pick at them. Off my little soapbox.
As for games I also started Malice Two Sisters last night. I have quite the rotation going. Played a few more Spooky Bonus boards. Up to 45. I was down to 36 secs on one board, I had to "stake" my last square.

Since it was essentially a CE BOGO, I used 2 gcc's an got Enigmatis & Child of the Forest, like I need more CE's. Today I used a ppc for Northern Tale 2, for the extra punch. I finished the Nevertales main game; will probably have to replay to finish the bonus part, as I'm woefully lacking in collectible roses. Also finished Zombie Solitaire, but that doesn't count since it's a replay. However, it may be worthy of note that I reached level 78 this time before caving and buying powerups. Still obsessed with the Singing Monsters. Oh dear, I may need therapy. Beating my head against the "challenge" levels of Call of the Ages. I truly think some levels are literally impossible. And yet I keep going back to it.

The lady from Facebook who gave me an expiring coupon a few weeks ago sent me another one. How sweet is that? I'll have to decide what to use it on.
eta: I just got the Torment of Mont Triste or whatever it's called. Someone said it had 15 HO scenes and 46 puzzles. I prefer the puzzles so this sounds like the game for me I'm going to finish Shadow Wolf Bane of the Family first, though....I think, I think, I think

You don't have to replay the main game to get the rest of the roses. Go into the bonus content part and then the roses. You will be able to click on the roses you don't have lit up and immediately go to the scene it is in to collect it. Makes it so much easier.

OMG does Shadow Wolf have a lot of HO scenes At least they're fairly easy because the hint takes awhile to fill. It's a lot easier on the 19" desktop compared to the 15" laptop. I'm liking the story so far, a vampire is trying to find a cure for his young daughter so she can lead a normal life.

Downloading the demo for today's new game Grimville: The Gift of Darkness. I was reading some of the forum and apparently it has the word "bullshit" in it and people complained because the devs dared to use a "swear word" in the game. I laughed myself silly because people think that is a swear word that shouldn't be used. That is mild in comparison to some of the words their kids hear on a daily basis on the playground I bet. The devs ended up editing it out and BF updated the game already because I few complained. Crazyness.
But I am hoping the game is good at any rate. It sounds like it has promise. Will let you guys know.

I caved and used the sale to get 2 CEs: NEVERTALES and PUNISHED TALENTS. Then I used 2 PCCs to get NORTHERN TALE 2 & ZODIAC. I'll continue playing NORTHERN TALE. Who knows when I'll get to the others.

I just finished Chapter 5 of 11 in Shadow Wolf, that's all the HO scenes I can take for one day.
Think I'll go to bed early tonight, help make up for all my 5 hour nights. Everyone have fun with their shiny new games

I guess I missed the uproar at BFG. Ive learned to keep my mouth shut well keep my fingers quiet over there and just leave it alone so I don't rile anyone up. There are a couple people who do reviews who drive me crazy, no names and its not about the reviews they do, its just what they say. I prefer to do the page reviews when I complete a game because in the forums if you state you don't care for a game, people that do will start jumping on your back. It happens a lot in ERS forums...but I just go into those forums to see if anyone mentions developer and they usually do.
I am now playing Otherworld-Omens of Summer CE. I finished the main game, will do the bonus tomorrow. I miss ONE fairy!!! GRRR if I had missed 10 or something then whatever but one? ONE? I thought I checked everything throughly. It was probably in some dark part of the game, they blended in quite nicely. I liked this game and it did have a twist but the main game leaves no resolution, no solving of anything. I know this is a series that keeps going and Im sure the last one picks off where this one left off but what a bummer. All that stuff and no satisfaction. Reminds me of dates I had as a young adult! LOL
Im also playing Ballad of Solar. I really like this game, don't get me wrong but it has an annoying feature to it. In some scenes you can get 2 stars and in some 3. It will freeze the time in some and others among the same mission will be timed. IF you do not get all the stars, and you go back to replay that level, you not only have to do all the untimed parts again but the other timed one and then the one you screwed up on. I would love just to do over the one I sucked at, not allll the other ones. Tedious. But I do like it. Solar is kind of hunky. haha
I been also playing big Kahuna Reef-Chain Reaction M3. I can only play a few levels of this game before I die of boredom so Im going to put it aside again. Im only on level 30 and have had it over a year. why oh why did I get this one for? The boards that actually do chain react are neat but mostly its just the same thing over and over and over.
