I just finished Fearful Tales: Hansel & Gretel. Main game & bonus. It took me a shade over 5 hours to do both of them. It was cute and fun to do. It was a very relaxing game - nothing too taxing - and the puzzles were all do-able. Saw the Making Of Video in the extras. It was short, but it was funny. Nice imaginations this Eipix team has.

Barre, Thanks so much for your strategy on using the "new deck card" in Zombie Solitaire. I wasn't sure how it worked, and didn't want to waste a lot of gold experimenting.

I finished the whole game of Nevertales The Beauty Within. It was a relaly good game. The bonus chapter was about an hour and a half of extra game play. There are also three hidden chapters once you complete the bonus chapter. In order to get to the first one, you have to complete the rose puzzle. To do this you have to have collected all the roses within the main game and the bonus game. If you didn't find them all during your normal game play, the game allows you to go to each scene to find them. It lets you know which scenes you didn't find them in, which is helpful.
The second chapter is found by finding the second set of collectibles, which are various different things. These aren't activated in the scenes until you finish the first hidden chapter. Once you complete that one you get immediate access to the final hidden chapter. And to let you know, the hidden chapters aren't really chapters, they are more like scenes with various different things to do. One hidden object scene per "chapter" and a couple small puzzles. Each one took me about 15 minutes give or take. They were a fun little addition though. Oh and they didn't have anything to do with the main game.

Hi y'all. Nice to see you Sue!
I imagine I might finish Timeless The Lost Castle tonight. Although I'm not really sure where I am in it. It is a pretty engrossing game lots to find and do. You do have a magical implement to use to search rooms for hidden objects and I keep forgetting about it until I'm scratching my head wonder where the Sam Hill something is. There is no walkthru, but I've only run into one issue and the forum had an answer to my question. I'm quite enjoying it..
Anki, sorry you aren't enjoying Namariel more. If you get stuck I can try to help you. It wasn't too long ago that I finished.
After I finish Timeless I think I'll play Tales of Terror Crimson Dawn in honour of Halloween.

Thanks everyone for the condolences. *flower* since theres no icon for it lol
I finished The missing-A search and rescue Game SE and hated it. I remember hating this demo a long time ago so how did I end up buying it?? It had sooo many scenes but in each of them, there was nothing to do. Pick up a crystal which was in plain sight or do a hidden object scene, nothing else really. No voiceovers. Very sub par game. Not even widescreen or fullscreen. Had black bars. Had no plot that I cared about after first 30 minutes. It had such potential too.
Now I can play one of my many CEs...not sure which one it will be but Im definitely leaning towards Enigmatis-Mists of Ravenwood or Final Cut-Encore or League of Light-Dark Omens...ahhh sooo many games sooo little time

Meg, I finished one of those "nothing to do" games not long ago, I think it was Beast of Lycan Isle. The first part of the game there were several things to do in each scene but aftera short while it just fell apart. I kept wondering why they put all the effort into making new scenes with only 1 thing in each, I would much have preferred fewer scenes with more to do in each. I played Namariel right after that one and there were 6 or more things to do in each scene(I counted for a while). That's probably why I loved it oso much. I'm still on Dark
Strokes, haven't had much playing time lately and I'm off to see a girlfriend for brunch.

I am trying Spirit Seasons: Little Ghost Story for the third time. The first two times I didn't get very far, so I am hoping the third time is the charm and I can complete it.

Sunshine, I've played that one twice because it has 2 different endings.

Thanks Wendy, I didn't know it had two endings. I guess I will be playing this one twice then, because I like to know how both endings will end. I don't seem to mind playing it now. Must not of have been in the mood before.

There was a big controversy at the time about how short Spirit Seasons was. Valdy and some others only got to the end of Chapter 2 while many, many others made it to the end of 5, even into chapter 6 of 7. Here is my post from that thread

I read this thread and decided to play in the easy mode as quickly as I could without skipping any dialogue. I didn't skip any games and I thought I did them in a reasonable time. I used a hint for the last object in all the H0 scenes to increase my speed. I, too, like the slower players only made it to the end of Chapter 2 in the demo hour. I just don't understand how so many people could have gotten almost finished. I have always thought I was a bright intelligent person who was good at puzzles and fairly good at the H0 scenes but I guess I am very delusional. It really has shaken my faith in myself to find I am so very far below par. I feel slightly sick to my stomach actually. I know this doesn't technically mean I'm stupid but it sure feels that way. My only consolation is that I get much more playing time for my money, and I don't run out of games nearly as quick as you smart fishies.
I really did feel quite upset at the time because I was so slow but it doesn't bother me any more. I always get at least 2 days out of a game, usually 3. And I did play the game twice and I don't think I was too much faster the second time through
