I sent an angry email to CS just now after reading this. They're just out and out trying to screw people over on purpose, pulling this on the last Monday again. Hope I get a CE coupon, too.
I had a coupon alert from a site I subscribe to about the 2 for 1, was wondering cause it was a day or two ago.

I finished 9 last month and didn't buy a thing. My totals for the year so far are 34 finished but I bought 31

I fired off a somewhat irate e-mail to CS this morning and got a coupon good for an SE or CE. Of course I'll use it for a CE, so I'm ahead of the game. I'm guessing it will give me 3 punches as well, so much better than filling my card will ho-hum games to get a pcc.

I haven't done much of anything all week. My cold is really bad. All I do is drink orange juice, eat chicken corn chowder, take Clariton, blow my nose, and suck on ricolas. Did listen to BBC4 quite a bit and worked on Jigsaws Galore.

I finished 3 games last month but only 2 count since one I'd played before. Neither of the games I played was a HOPA. I DID Dex a HOPA and I'm counting that as done. I played 2 or 3 chapters and had another 5 or so to go but it was "check the WT, move, rinse & repeat". I just couldn't face that anymore. It wasn't fun.

I've only gotten the canned response email so far, but I'm not a member at the moment. A girl can dream, though. But I am getting very tired of their underhanded way of implementing these changes. They know exactly what they're doing by changing it before the last Monday of the month and I'm sick of it. I might just stick with GH next year and only do the demos and FTPs at BFG.
Lily, what game did you dex? I feel the same way, I don't mind looking at the walkthru every now and then but when that seems to be all I"m doing I may as well go back and replay Syberia, lol. I hate the games where HOs pop up randomly waaaay back at the beginning and you have no reason to be in that area so how are you supposed to know they're there? And now you've triggered another HO that's 15 screens away.

Wendy -- I Dex'd AMULET OF TIME: SHADOW OF LA ROUCHELLE. Several people had said they'd enjoyed it and, I think, that it was easy. I didn't think so. I sure hope I don't own any of the games you're talking about with randomly generating HOS. I tend to like the neat little games that you only have 4 or 5 areas to check. And jump maps that show where you have things to do.

I have finished the main game of Off the Record Art of Deception and I found the game disappointing. I enjoyed the first two a lot but this one didn't have much challenge imo. Eg there is a puzzle with cylinders (like a codex shape) that you have to turn the pieces to match the pattern. Well you didn't even have to study the pattern as soon as it was on the correct one it lit up! So click click click done. I don't know if the bloom is off the rose for me with games right now but I found parts of this a real chore to get thru. You had to try every item with the + items as they paired some odd things together and they had some odd things being used to accomplish things. For instance a garden fork to pick a lock?! Some weird use of things. And the story was a little muddy. I have the bonus yet to play, hopefully it will be better than the main game. Usually in their replay of HOs it is indicated if you have found the morph in the scene or not. This time they have to. I'm not sure if that is their way of upping the challenge? To me it will just make me irritated if I missed one to have to go back thru them all. This is my 2nd Eipix game that I may not bother with the extras, that being said both of them had BFG credits first versus the usual team.

I do have a coupon to use today and I'll take a look at the sale. Who knows when another will pop up.

I have it but I've never played it even though it's in the "A"s. I won't be in any hurry now, lol.
I might have bought something in the sale but I can't count on getting a punch for my PCCs, and I think I have 3 of them.

I didn't see any advert for the sale but I think I will get a few games. I have 3GCCs so I could get 2SE and 2 CE. I did have to use a PCC expiring today so I picked up EAG The Mystery of Marie Roget. I have, I beleive, 5 more PCCs expiring April 10. I'll have to print the codes out as I'm going to be away for a few days. Who knows maybe there'll be a bp day in there.
