Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Big Fish is still in transition to their new sneak peeks, but they're mentioned on Facebook the 2 new CE's we'll be getting this week:  Dead Reckoning: Brassfield Manor and PupptShow: The Price of Immortality.

They posted two photos.  The Dead Reckoning game shows a carnival and the PuppetShow one shows Tudor-style houses and a cobblestone street.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I have a CE coupon, I just might have to get that Dead Reckining if it gets good reviews.  I've never tried the ios release, Silent Nights Children's Orchestra but the graphics are outstanding, might have to go  check out the PC version.  I've started getting a few for my tablet when they're on sale but I already have most of them.  But sometimes they have 99cent sales.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I finished Riddles of the Past or whateaver it was.  I enjoyed it the whole time, it wasn't a super fantastic game but I really liked  how they did the circles, it was so logical.  In normal hogs if you have to put on a door handle you have to find a screwdriver laying around and then play a HO for the screws and another for the handle.  In this game those bits and pieces were laying around various scenes, when you put them in the circle they would perform the action for you.  I know it sounds like pretty much the same thing but I liked it sooo much more.  There were no HOs, that's probably why I liked it so much.  Because of that, though, I think it was pretty short, it took me a while to play it, but I did it in bits and pieces, I'd guess it was only about 2 hours or so and I'm pretty slow.  But I'm loosing my attention span so I actually prefer a shorter game.  It was just what I needed after ODing on FTPs

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I finished the first chapter of Black Mirror.    I kept getting stuck because I kept forgetting about right clicking different things.  This game is rich in story (history & ancestry) and has beautifully detailed graphics considering it was made in 2003.

I'm also playing Hodgepodge Hollow.  It's a cute game.  I am in the need for some light relief after wandering around castle Black Mirror these last couple of days.

While looking around my game manager I came across  Blood & Ruby.  I can't recall anyone ever mentioning it.  I thought to myself  What the heck is that game?   So, I tried a little of it.  Ah, it is about vampires.  It is sort of cheesy and plays organ music after you find a item in its many HO scenes.  I know I should know what organ music it is playing, but just can't recall it.  I finished chapter 1 and read that it was short, so I am going to keep playing it.

Anki...I had tears too in a couple different places in Syberia 2.  I heard that the 3rd one will be out this year.  I sure hope so, but I believe that when I actually see it.

sunshinej -- I played BLOOD & RUBY quite a while ago.  As I recall I liked it.  Is the music Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D?  I LOVE  HODGEPODGE HOLLOW.  That would be a game I'd replay.

Yes, Thank you lilyr.  That's it.  Also, Hodgepodge Hollow is so cute and addicting. I see why you love it.   I keep saying just one more scene, just one more potion and so I keep on going on.  Half way done now.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

hiiiii everyone

I moved and finally got internet high speed internet When I moved up here, my parents house couldn't get high speed so we had this crazy slow but now I live near downtown so my games download considerably faster...like instead of 1 hour per gig, 5-10 minutes for a gig game love it

During presidents sale...i bought a ridiculous amount of games which reminds me, I have a ridiculous amount of pccs expiring in late april. Anyways I ate up all my credits and then cancelled my game club. I don't buy enough anymore now that I have a pc back in my life and can catch up on all my large file adventure games I had bought ages ago.

Anyways I just finished
Awakening-sunhook spire ce
sea of lies nemesis ce- this one bored me to tears!!! annoying since I loved the first one

Right now I am caught between all the things I want to catch up on like tv shows since I can marathon the ones my hubby hates since hes at work and playing all my many games. Since my husband has a gaming computer himself, sometimes we just game near each other at night. I realized we are both gaming nerds haha I met my match it seems =)

Hope everyone is well. I am still trying to finish Delicious-emilys new beginning. I find this one tedious compared to the others and since there aren't anymore after this one, i seem to have slowed down my pace. Gardens inc 3 is still being worked on too. Ive given up on Mystery Case Files-Fates Carnival CE...I LOVE carnival themes but this game once you pull back the special effects is quite a bore in my opinion. sigh

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Glad you've moved and have high speed Internet!  I guess I'd watch the TV shows your DH can't stand while he's at work.  Then you can game together in the evenings.   I'm getting nowhere fast as far as finishing up my old games goes.  One of my F2P games just had a large update and I've been playing that.  But now I'll start looking for a purchased game to play.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I finished Fantasy Mosaics 7: Our Home.  I thought it was pretty easy for the most part.  There were a couple that I needed to guess/use pattern/use power up at the very end.  But I don't see how you could solve 16-2 without guesswork.

The Gizmo series is still the best, IMO.  Hope they come out with one for St Pat's or for Easter.  Or both.
