HI guys
I have been trying to catch up on some games! I just finished Tales of Terror 2-House on the Hill CE what can I say? Its way better than the first in the series! I loved the start of it and thought it was going to be a great game but once it started to get interesting it was over! I think I played only 3 hours and then the bonus chapter was so dumb, totally not worth the extra money. It ended just fine with the standard but since it was so short, it was a bummer. I would have given it 5 stars too with the way it started boo. It got really easy near the end too like the developers got bored with it and said eh who cares about giving them a good ending. Not to mention the live actors were horrible actors. blah oh well.
Since I had the funpass for awhile, I played Moviewood, the game I see being mentioned. It reminds me of a free to play game model with the quests only you don't run out of energy like the free ones. I played it for awhile but it gets repetitive after you do a few movies. I liked making the posters best.
I also played:
12 labours of hercules 3-girl power-this game like died halfway through and wouldn't open but I liked it so much I will buy it on BFG with one of my 8 gcc. I am waiting for a BOGOF with CEs & SEs and then I will cancel my membership and stock up on games.
Delicious-Emilys honeymoon cruise PE
Kingdom Tales
Fable of Dwarfs-wow is this game ever hard! you need lots of strategy to beat it!
Big City Instanbul
Vacation adventures 1&2 Park ranger. 2nd was definitely better than first. longer too.
I can't wait to play the latest shiver game as I beta'd it ages ago and loved the uniqueness. Hopefully they didn't change much.
My husband and I found the cutest apartment. I am crossing my fingers hoping we get approved for it. I have great credit but there were a few other people there when we viewed it. Its above a computer store which is only open weekdays til 5pm. perfect and its in a 1920s-30s building so it has bay windows, built ins and just all the charm of that kind of era. I love houses like this. It also has hardwood well laminate floors and arched hallways! I am in love. Hopefully we get it! Moving though ughhh packing ughhhh since I been living with my parents for so long, seeing all the stuff I moved into boxes in 2008 will be a total mystery! I have no idea what I have and don't have in terms of kitchen stuff or other things. And since its an older apartment, the closet space is little to none! We are going to have to get wardrobes or something. It also comes with a washer & dryer! SCORE!
hope everyone is doing good. Oh & if we get this place, we will get high speed internet again because we will be out of the hillside & trees! Growing up in the bay area made me spoiled! I cannot stand how slow our internet is now. It takes almost an hour or more to dl a game. Before it took 10 minutes maybe. Anyways fingers crossed

Based on Wendy's comments I started Paranormal State Poison Spring. I love the sound effects in the HO scenes. The HO scenes are quite fun with all the interaction. I've only just served up tea, and I haven't found any collectables or noticed any achievements, was there a CE version or is it in the SE?
I played the PE from Gamehouse, it has wolves for collectibles, they howl when you click them, I didn't get them all I don't think. It had the normal achievements, also. It didn't have a bonus chapter that I noticed.

Thanks Wendy that would explain it.
Has anyone had trouble with their GM? I see to have issues with it at least once a week where it doesn't respond and populate. I usually have to cad out.

Hello Meg, How nice that you guys are going to be getting your own place soon. Fingers crossed that you get the one you want. Getting one with its own washer & dryer. Sweet!
oscar...The only trouble with my GM is that it won't tell me about any updates anymore. I have been talking to Aimee in Customer Service about it and she suggested to delete the GM and d/l it again to see if that helps. I was wondering if maybe I have too many games d/l to the GM and that is why it is not telling me about any updates.

I see we have a new person who signed up JannBurdin. Hello and Welcome. Don't be shy and feel free to post where ever you want. What type of games do you like to play?

Well, that's it. I finished the last Mystery Trackers game Blackrow's Secret. Off to d/l Drawn: The Painted Tower for my next series. I bought this game probably in 2010 on a CD. Spent 20 bucks for it. I hope it is good.

Sun - you haven't played Drawn yet? Not a replay? You're in for a treat. The idea of deleting my GM is too much, I've got so much sitting in it, mind you it would delete all the demos and then they would be out of sight and I wouldn't keep think hmm I should try that.
Meg- I've got everything crossed for you. Good Luck!
I unfortunately am just getting frustrated with Paranormal Springs. I'm hoping I'm almost done. (Wendy I'm building the totem? How much more do I have?). The game just doesn't seem to respond well, I click on things in inventory and they don't get picked up, I try to use them and it takes 6+ clicks to get them accepted. It is unfortunate because I started off really enjoying it, nice HO scenes, good story. I must say these people are so concerned about Elfie disappearing, meanwhile I fell thru a floor to a basement, they tell me to get out on my own, then I climb in to an excavation and someone steals the ladder, all they say when I return was oh you've been gone for a while! Hmmpphh.

Sunshine, hardly any of the new people who join us seem to post. It's such a pity. I'd like to get to know them.
Any ideas how we could make them feel more welcome?
And, yes, hi JannBurdin ! Please feel free to post whatever you want, whenever you want, and join us. Whether it's discussing all the games you're playing or want to play, especially if you have lots of unplayed games like the rest of us. Or joining in all the other threads, where we discuss TV shows, books, what we're up to, hobbies, etc.
The more the merrier!

Oscar, uninstalling and reinstalling your GM doesn't delete what's in your GM. When you reinstall it all the games that were in it before you uninstalled it will still be there. So don't worry about trying it.
