DH went out and bought me a space heater.
I finished the first two chapters of Death and Betrayal in Romania: A Dana Kinghtstone Novel. It's pretty easy so far, but I had to skip one of those change this and other things change puzzles. I liked the variation on the strings puzzle.

I finally finished the PE of House of 1000 Doors Palm of Zoroaster. I don't know if it was good or not, I just never got into it. If there were any collectables I've forgotten them since I started in November. I can't really get interested in a HOPA right now so it might be a really good game, I just don't think I'd really like any game right now.
When it's in the 60s in Florida it's because there's a cold north wind blowing, when it's 60s in New England I would be wearing a Tshirt, 60s in Florida would be a sweater and/or warm jacket, if it's in the 50s I actually wear a parka. Or I used to, now that I'm going through menopause I'm never cold for long, which I really like. I love my menopause, haven't had a period since July. I did get pretty fluffy, though, I'm going to have to get back to lifting weights. And the place I'm moving to is 8 -10 blocks from where I play shuffleboard so that seems like a perfect walk.

I demo'd Frankenstein: Monster of Death or as I like to call him Frank n' Beans. I didn't like in the HO scenes that the list was 4 items and just kept replenishing itself. The game was pretty easy and I lasted about 1/2 hour. I think maybe a Daily Deal game only.
Today I demo'd The Mystery of a Lost Planet. Now this is more up my alley as I like the premise. A spaceship crash lands on a distant planet. Surprising how a distant planet is Earth like in nature and we can still breathe oxygen and don't even need our spacesuits or helmets. I finally made it outside the ship and found a bunch of earth items in the HO scenes. "Hey! Who was here on this Lost Planet before us and cluttered it up full of Earth junk!" I am not to know since my demo ran out. This one I had trouble finding the action spots in a few places, so it was slow going in a few spots. Also, the game is soooo quiet. No voiceovers or sounds. The music is so low key you can barely even tell it is there. I think maybe this is another for the Daily Deal pile.
Speaking of Daily Deals, I see Secret Bunker USSR came out today. I am going to get it.

I finished Mystery Trackers: Silent Hollow. This time around I wasn't a detective, but a agent with cool new James Bond type gadgets to use . I also, got to finally meet the other agents + the head honcho at the Mystery Trackers Headquarters located in Silent Hollow. (Nice to know one's coworkers and boss)
I just had the SE and felt like I didn't miss out on anything by not getting the CE.
Next up, me (as the detective or agent ), is headed back to Raincliff in Mystery Trackers: Raincliff's Phantoms. This time around my canine partner Elf will be coming with me..
Has anyone did a demo for Midnight Mysteries: Ghostwriting. If so, please do tell.

I finished Secret Bunker which I liked. I did have to skip one puzzle, and some of the words in the HO scenes didn't match the item, so if you are confused best click hint imo. But overall good atmosphere and not loads of backtracking or anything.
Haven't demo'd sorry.
And on to the Void! Tonight!

Ask and ye shall be given!
I've just posted a demo review for you in my demo review thread, #27.
If anyone has any other games they'd like an opinion on, just let me know and I'll post my notes. I make notes of every game I demo or play and I think I've demoed them all, I just haven't been up to posting anything.
ETA: Forgot to say that I recommend the SE, not the CE, as the bonus is only about 35 mins and apparently pales in comparison to the main game (which is about 4.5 hours). Collecting well-hidden clovers (which I love!) isn't enough to make up for such a short bonus. Also, this time you have the raven as a helper and you collect ravens to replenish your HInt, so I imagine you'll also be collecting them in the SE, so you'll still have collectibles in the SE!

Stusue...I have been wondering how you have been doing. A big Thank You from me for posting the demo review for Midnight Mysteries. I read it and I agree with you that the SE is the way to go with such a short bonus. Playing tic tac toe with your raven does sound intriguing though, but I won't pay more just to play with my pet helper.
I saw that you posted in the tech thread in today's game. The Dev AlikArt came into the forum, but he didn't mention any solutions for win8 problems. I sort of felt bad for him after reading the reviews.

Sunshine, no problem. I've been as sick as a dog, still recovering from the trip home and all the vampire visits I've had since I've been back, trying to get my blood-thinner medication sorted out again following my operation (finally yesterday it was back within the normal range so I don't have to go back for 2 weeks! Yippee!!!!). My mum's also not doing well at all as she's now starting to suffer and we got really bad news yesterday, so none of that has helped my CFS, either. I doubt I'll be back on my feet before I have to return to Sydney (atm in July) but I'm ever hopeful.
I just went to BFG to check out what AlikArt had to say in the forums but, guess, what, BFG has JUST changed the layout of the game pages and the forums have vanished from the game pages!!!! And I mean JUST as when I checked something out for Midnight Mysteries when I posted my demo review it was the same game page as always. But when I just went back to check out today's game all the game pages had suddenly changed! I don't like the new look at all as it's all too big and hard to find everything. It might look more modern but, whereas before it was really simple and easy to see everything just at a glance, now you have to scroll down to find everything, which just makes it really awkward to use. The only way I could find the forum for today's game was to go to the bottom of the main page, click on the forums home page, then click on today's game as it's all on its own in a little box at the top right. The forum was just like it always is, only hard to find, but that will mean even fewer posts than normal.
If anyone can find where the forum is on a game page, let me know. Hopefully they'll realise while I sleep and it will be fixed when I get up.

At the very top, over the video, it says 'Get game tips'. Click on that to gt to the forum.

Thanks, Tirama, but it's not on my laptop. I found it on my Netbook when I downloaded the new game to see if I could demo it on that, but all those things to the right don't show on my laptop. I don't know whether that's because my Netbook has Windows 7 and my laptop Windows 8.1 or whether it's because of something else. But I find it really odd that all those things to the right don't show at all, even though the stuff that's to the left of those things is there.
