When I got stuck I posted a question in CRIME SOLITAIRE2 forum at BFG. I got an answer from the DEV! I was surprised because I think it's an older game. I am enjoying the game.
oscar -- Have you tried M. C. Beaton's other series, the Hamish MacBeth books? He's a police officer in a small Scottish village in the Highlands. I much prefer those. Best read in order.

I think I'm going to have to carry over Emerald City. I'm gather it is fairly long and the bloom has come off the rose for me here. I may even trash it. Just so much dialogue to scroll thru, and you have to do it all to move on, I find it boring. I promised myself I would not waste my time on games or books I'm not enjoying. (Why am I finishing that Agatha Raisin! I just need to find out who the killer is)
I have reinstalled The Void, which I think I'll start after Secret Bunker.
The game never changes, either. I liked it for awhile but then I got tired of not doing anything. I like dialogue in a game but to me, ECC didn't have any game. I think I trashed it, too. On the other hand, I loved Secret Bunker, hope you like it too.

I finally finished Asian Riddles 3. Not sure what I'll start next. Still need to finish my punch card today.

First - I just bought a new mouse. I found I was having some trouble with it, especially noticeable when I was playing Gizmos. I guess it was getting tired but I will miss it. Staples had little choice so I got a Logitech one, we'll see how it goes. It moves around quickly. My old one was a Microsoft one, a big mouse, I find the little mice make my hand cramp up. lol when I went in to Staples they had moved everything around so I said where are your mice? I mean really, what is the plural for computers, mouses? just a little giggle for me. Priced out the tax software too. One of my clients now has a small home based business, so I think I will lose her and her son as customers. I'd need to pass on the difference in cost for the software ($55!) to her so I think it would be cheaper for her to just go to H&R Block.
Wendy - I know exactly what you mean, there just doesn't seem to be anything to do except read. I liked the sassy characters, at first, but I'm kind of tired of them. It seems like a waste of time. So most likely it will go on the scrap heap. Especially since, Sun's fault, I am so looking forwarding to starting the Mystery Trackers over. I am enjoying everything about Secret Bunker, atmosphere is just right. I don't know what the hell is going on and why my gf was taken, hopefully all will be revealed.
Tirama, I'm on the last room of Asian Riddles 3.
Lily - no I haven't. Is he as disagreeable as Agatha? If not I will try one. I do like a good mystery. It's one of the things I enjoy most on a Sunday morning, sitting down with my brekkie to watch an English mystery,

Hamish is a wonderful character oscar. Not disagreeable (exept when the superiors try to get him to advance!). There are some interesting characters in his area too. I really, really like this series.

I finished up my punchcard yesterday with the normal Gizmo game. I was reading in the forums about a week ago and clicked on a thread with the title "I Loved this Game" and this is what was posted.
=14pxI beta tested this game and loved it, bought the CE
=14pxI have a game credit if anyone is interested. Please pm me and I'll send it to you.
Kinda weird, huh? But I PM'd the person and they sent me what they said was a code for a GCC. I had 4 punches, was going to use a couple PCCs but this gave me the 2 punches to fill my card. Then I cancelled game club. I still have 3 PCCs to use but they're good for awhile and there's nothing I need now.

I used a PCC and a customer service coupon and finished my card by getting Fantasy Mosaics 6: Into the Unknown and Clutter IV: Minigame Madness Tour. I have not downloaded either game.
I'm going to try and play a HOPA next. Maybe the newest Dana Knightstone.

Imo, Tirama, if it has been awhile and you are just picking up a HOPA, Dana Knightstone will disappoint.

I figure this game will be easy. If it's like the other Dana Knightstones, it will be divided into self-contained chapters, so I won't have to traipse all over the place and remember where everything is. I don't want to play a really good game, and not enjoy it because I'm still having troubles focusing for long periods of time.
I just hope there's no scenes ofsnow. It's only 61F down here (normal for this time of year is 77F). My house is built on a slab, the floors are wood laminate, and my feet are so cold. It was in the high 40's when I got up.

It should do you well then if you want to stop and start and not have to back track. Visually it's lovely. And it is quite easy, and there is at least a story.
Lol I cant stir up much sympathy for the temp, it's -12C today. But I do get what you mean. It is cold if it's not the norm or what you are used to. And a concrete slab, brr. You need to put on the fluffy slippers. I have a crawl space under my house and the floors are frigid at the best of times. I have to replace the carpet in the bedrooms, and I am definitely going to go with carpet. I have laminate throughout the rest of the house and it is cold where the area rugs aren't.
