I d/l The Fool this morning. Ready for when I am done with my current game, I'll know to play this one next. For 3 years I have passed this one by while looking for a new game and it is about time I finished it.

I would LOVE to do this since my oldest unplayed games go back to April, 2009! BUT the two from that month are THE SERPENT OF ISIS (which I tried once or twice and never got anywhere) and LOST IN THE CITY (which I've heard is quite long). I just don't have the time right now. It's a great idea though.

I remember really loving the first Serpent of Isis. And I think I played the other but don't remember much about it. Are you getting ready for your trip?
I finished the HE game off and I'll start Shades of Death tonight. I have a couple of older games but they are those really long Amazing Adventure ones and Solitaire which I play a bit here and there. Plus one TM.
So what is out time challenge on these? I know you put a date somewhere I'll go back and look.

lilyr...Your Serpent of Isis sounds like my Mystery of Mortlake Manor. I started it twice already and never got anywhere with it either. I fizzle out on it in the first chapter and it doesn't seem like it would be a bad game to play, but I can't seem to get into it.
oscar...The time limit is at the end of September. Is that too long, you think? I put at least a week for each game and some extra time to do betas, demos, new games, keeping up on the f2p games.
I was hoping to do this in October too. I still have lots and lots of unplayed games that I keep passing over in favor of others. I'll Probably will just make it up to 3 games and all categories in October.

My 3 are:
1. MCF: Madame Fate (12/20/08) - Finished 8/22/14 and got all three tents unlocked-yay! (2nd time played)
2. MCF: Return to Ravenhearst (2/20/09) - Finished 9/7/14 - Wow, that was a hard game!
3. Azada (5/25/09) - Finished 9/27/14 - loved it but timed sure made it tricky, thank goodness for orbs!
Actually, my next on the list is Hidden Mysteries: Civil War but got it on the same date for $.99 but would rather do Azada.

WOW!! I've played both of teeitup's MCFs and AZADA. I sooo wanted to like HM: CIVIL WAR but the hints were few and far between and some of the items were soooo tiiny. It's the only HM I don't own.

Sun - if the time frame is shortened it might be too tight for people with not a lot of time to play, so I think it is a good manageable goal for most.
I started Shades of Death and it is a bit of a harder game in terms of where to go, but I am really liking it. The puzzles are pretty straightforward and there is a fair amount to do to move on in things. Atmosphere is good, same with the graphics and story. Two thumbs up, if you haven't played it give it a whirl.
