Yeah, yeah, yeah, Oscar, that's what they all say.

Geez how many levels have you completed? Certainly getting your money's worth for that one.

Well, Seven Seas Solitaire only has 300 levels, and that's not counting the stages (of 10 levels) that I've had to replay because I didn't achieve all the goals.    The last one I played - Legends of Solitaire - Curse of the Dragons - had 400 levels, also not including those stages I had to replay!    And then you have the freeplay mode, which has different types of solitaire.     You certainly get your money's worth with those 2.    And they've both taken me ages to play because I only play them when I'm watching TV at night.

I'm going to have to try Fright.

It's definitely worth a try!    It's different and really, really creepy ... and really, really good!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I have finished Danse Macabre: The Last Adagio CE. It was very good! I really like Eipix.
But there were some minor glitches. I finished the tutorial but didn´t get the achievement for that, and when I replayed the HOS to get gold on all even though I had 100% after the scene was finished it said like 64% . But I did manage to get that achievement.      ( I said the glitches were minor )

I also finshed Solitaire Mystery: Four Seasons (Zylom). It was OK and better than the first one.

Stuesue, I have replayed Seven Seas Solitaire many times. It´s my go to game when I like something not too thinky

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

This is going to be another dismal month as far as games finished goes.  Right now I'm replaying Northern Tale because I want something easy and fun.  I don't count replayed games as finished.  I'm getting frustrated with my 2 F2Ps and Blacklore is tedious.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Don't feel bad, Lily.  I finished the bonus parts of 2 CEs and I should finish Nevertales CE and that's it, I think.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

It seems I have a lot of reading to catch up on. I did see that there are some sick family members so I hope they all  heal up well and feel better

So on a personal note, my fiance missed his visa interview on March 25th because he got in a car accident on the way to the airport but he was able to reschedule for April 1st and thankfully he is okay and only has a small bump on his head. Tessa (the dog) is healing up very nicely according to the vet and its been a month and she's very alert now and restless being locked up in the back room but she's a trooper. My mom is going to be off work now until May because her shoulder is just not healing like she thought it would. She also had to cancel their trip to Europe this May but at least she has the time she needs off work to heal.

It started raining Tuesday and is supposed to rain for like 10 days straight now. It snowed at 5000FT. I am at 3800FT so I guess its going to be a late winter as it keeps dipping down into the low 40s and 30s so we might get snow here too. California sooooo desperately needs the rain that I can't really complain about it except its hard to take the dog out in the cast in rain so it has to be wrapped up in plastic but what can you do.

Hope all of you are having a nice week. Happy Friday xx

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Now onto games...Oh sooo many to discuss.

So I finished Mystery Trackers-Silent Hollow SE, Angelica Weaver-Catch me When you can SE, Cursery-Crooked Man & Cat, Heroes From the Past-Joan of Arc.

I LOVED the mystery trackers game which was odd because since Raincliff I really haven't enjoyed this series much and wasn't going to buy this one but I couldn't resist it as a DD in february and Im soooo happy I got it because it was one of the better ones. Angelica Weaver was not as good as I thought it would be but it was long. However, I felt like even though there was a lot to do that it wasn't as meaty as I would like. BUT collectibles are in the standard edition so glad I didn't get the CE. Cursery I could have lived without as it was all disjointed and really felt like a dark parable. I think I gave it 3 stars...Heroes from the past took me ages to play but I LOVED it and its one of the few Match 3 games that it took me almost the entire game to build the town. Usually on level 50 Im done with it lol

As far as games go, this month I have only bought 4 and 2 were DDs (Fishdom 2, Vampires Todd&jessica's story), one was that free coupon for BPM (Grim Legends-Forsaken Bride CE) and the other was The 7.99 sale we had awhile ago (Mystery of the Unicorn-Beastmaster).

I have A LOT of games on my wishlist though and will take care of the SEs on BPM with my pccs so they count for something. Is it just me or are there A LOT of nonogram games out right now? I really like nonograms BUT World Mosaics are too easy now that Im seasoned and I don't like the new graphics they used on 7. I see a lot by one developer I can't seem to remember the name of and I like World Tour but the pirate one & olympus one bug me because of music/sound effects. I tried Montezuma 4 and really had no care for that one either although I used to love that series.

However Gamehouse might give me a run for my money. They are always late releasing most mac games and Im used to it but lately they have more and they come more often than they used to. There are multiple Platinum Editions that are not on BFG that I would like and since you get a 2 week free trial, I might wait until a few more are out and then just play them during that or actually buy them. Mac games arcade has been releasing more and more too so maybe more game sites are on to the fact that BFG isn't producing many happy customers anymore.

BTW I saw a commercial for BFG Casino the other night and I thought it was soooo dumb. Im so sure the money I pay for games goes to stupid ads like that. I had the app for awhile but became bored with it. Casino isn't my thing unless its for real money and even then Im not the biggest fan unless Im winning

One last thing...Midnight Castle... I was sooo looking forward to another F2P game from Elephant BUT Im not quite feeling this one. Its quite repetitive. I almost have all the keys to get into the castle and then I wonder if it will improve BUT after you go to a hidden object scene, it locks it for up to 15 minutes and the longer you play, the longer the time goes up after each time you play it. You can speed it up with the diamonds but those are scarce. I think I will stick to Found as I am on the 2nd island now, love the quests and people you barter with. I don't think I will ever be content with that game unless I can get all the collector sets LOL talk about OCD...

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I finished Fairy Twisted Tales.  I liked the game and glad that I redid it over.  I loved the pirate's voice and would often click on him just to hear him say "I have nothing more to say.  Thanks for the orange, now be on your way".  That last puzzle with the 5 elements was so very Feng Shui.  Is there anyone here that follows Feng Shui?  I was big into it about 10 years ago and now find my house is slipping.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I got an android tablet last Christmas and I finally figured out how to install games on it from Amazon appstore.  I put on Patchworkz - Burger Shop - Jigsaw World.  Now I just need to find a solitaire and a M3 game and a word game and a nanogram game then I am all set.  Also, a few people mentioned that Township was a good free-to-play, so I think I will put that on too.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

After running around in Fairly Twisted Tales for my next game I am going with Agatha Christie: 4:50 from Paddington.  I have all 4 of Agatha Christies HO games and this one is the only one left unplayed.  After this I am going to treat myself with MCF: Fate's Carnival.

After looking around the Amazon Appstore I found The Simpsons: Tapped Out which I am going to try instead of Township.

At the store yesterday I bought The Walking Dead The complete first season - Plus 400 days for the Xbox 360.  I have the pc version already minus the 400 days which thankfully I didn't spend much for it, but wanted the xbox version so DH and I can both enjoy.  If you don't see me in the next few days you'll know I am kicking some zombie behinds.

Meg...I just want to say glad your fiance didn't get hurt any worse than just a bump on the head from his accident and glad Tessa is healing up nicely.  Also, Glad to hear California is finally getting some rain finally. After  hearing about the drought that California has had.
That's too bad that your parents had to cancel their trip, but I can understand your mom's reasoning.
