I finished Royal Detective: The Lord of Statues.  It was a great game full of humorous bits and one big scare that I don't think was intentional, but it sure caused my heart to jump.  Spoiler ** When I walked into the opitcal shop and Archer was hiding out in there.  **

I bought A Wizard's Curse yesterdays DD and playing that right now.  I read the reviews saying it was too short and to be continued, so I knew that going in and bought it anyways.  For 2.99 I figured well why not and it is proving itself to be a really good game.  I am playing in hard mode and they mean it.  No hints not even in HO scenes and no help or skips in the puzzles and some of the things you need to find are very well hidden.

I have (but haven't played) ROYAL DETECTIVE.  I'll have to try A WIZARD'S CURSE.  I never got the badge.  Never thought I'd buy the game.  Now I have all the MCF's so I guess I'll never get the badge! 

lilyr...It seems like you have many games yet unplayed.  Just like myself.  I have a idea, if you are agreeable.  Pick any 3 games that you own and want to play, but haven't yet because of no  walkthrough or SG or some other reason and we can play them together.  The chances are good that I will have at least one game out of the 3.  And if anyone else wants to jump in that is very good too.

I did the demo on Dark Tales: EAP's The Fall of the House of Usher.  Oh! I so want it, the CE that is.  Ugh, my wanted CE list is growing by the day.  Must wait for the next sale.

 

It's funny that the latest Dark Tales has been released this week.  The detective in Haunted Hotel looks very much like ERS's Dupin.  I think both ERS and Elephant Games are Russian.  I wonder if some of the artists have changed companies.

lilyr...That's okay.  It was just an idea and it sounds like your plate is very full now.  Good luck on finding your tax thing.  Those tax things have a way of making themselves scarce when you need them.  I didn't know you were going to Germany so that's exciting.

Tirama...I bought Haunted Hotel Eclipse CE back when there was that 1/2 off sale on Elephant games and Dark Tales' Dupin is exactly who i thought of  when I did some of the demo.
