I have that one, Oscar, but just the SE. Wasn't it ERS's 50th game or something special like that?

Yes, Reveries: Sisterly Love CE was ERS' 50th game.  I absolutely loved it, especially the way it asked you before you went through the portal to the bonus chapter if you wanted to go back and find any collectibles you'd missed!    It was in my Top 3 since I'd played it but it's just been bumped down (I think ) to 4th by Grim Legends: The Forsaken Bride CE.  Mmmm... maybe I'll just make it my Top 4 instead.

I have the Flower of Immortality in my unplayed list too.  Maybe as a group play game?

This past weekend DH & I went in a junk shop/antique store and hanging on the wall was a sythe.  Wow, those things are really big and after finding countless sythes in the HO scenes, I finally got to see one in RL.

LOL.    Sunshine, I had to find a sickle in a HOS today and, even though it's a lot smaller than a scythe, I find them similar as they do the same job and I immediately thought of you when I found it.

I finally finished Hello Venice 2: New York Adventure.

stusue -regarding Tiffany's hair bows.  She has hundreds of them, no exaggeration.  She's been wearing bows since she was about 4 months old (she's 9 years old) and other dog owners give me the bows their dogs get when they go to the groomer because their dogs don't like wearing them.  They were all jumbled together in a cookie tin.  I threw out a bunch that were looking ratty, and sorted the remainder by color into smaller containers (The containers that General Foods International Coffee comes in) and put the containers into the larger cookie tin.  Then DH and I started repairing the ones where the rubber band had broken or the decorative doodad had fallen off.  After about a half hour, we looked at each other and said "What are we, nuts?  Let's just buy new ones."  We then spent another half hour surfing the net and choosing hair bows.  Nothing like spending quality time together.

Um, Tirama, don't get me wrong, I think it's great that you and hubbie spent some quality time together, but, um, if you had "hundreds of them, no exaggeration", why did you feel the need to firstly try and repair any of the hair bows, and then to buy new ones?

Congrats on finally finishing Hello Venice 2: New York Adventure  I think I've only got about 86 levels of Seven Seas Solitaire to go (out of 300 ).

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

And yet another game finished today!    That makes so far this month 12 played, 8 bought.  And there's still another 2 weeks until the end of the month!

After playing Flower of Immortality yesterday, I thought I'd stick with the theme (even though they're by different developers) and so played Elixir of Immortality today!    Once again, an old game, with lots and lots and LOTS of hard, old-fashioned, straight, non-interactive, junkpile HOSs and not all that many minigames (although I really liked the ones they had).  But boy was it fun with all sorts of twists and turns in the story!

It was also a bit like an adventure game in that the Hint button only gave you hotspots in each scene, and that was all.    So different to the explicit hints you get in recent games.  I can't remember there being much animation - although the water moving in one of the HOSs was perfect - and the only voiceovers were the characters grunting whenever you clicked on them when you had to read what they were actually saying.  And, near the end, one of the characters actually said a one-syllable word!  That sounded so weird.

I've got ELIXIR.  Haven't played it yet.  I bought it in 2010!  Congrats on all the games you've finished!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

stusue - Because every time I would grab a bow, it had a broken rubber band.  And those were my favorites.  So hopefully the new bows will become my favorites when they arrive and I'll throw out most of the old ones.  Hairbows are like games, can't have too many of them.

speaking of games, I've got to get off the free-to-play treadmill and start playing games I've paid for (or acquired through pcc's).

Its all I can do to get either of my guys to hold still for a santa hat picture.  Sweet she lets you gussy her up.

I thought Elixir of Mortality was a really good game.

I finished Reveries and I enjoyed it/  I had to laugh every time I saw the troll as he reminded me of a very dear friend, minus the pointy ears and green tinge.

SHe has to be combed every day since we keep her hair long.  I started combing and fussing with her from the day we brought her home, using the doggy equivalent of baby wipes, talking to her in a soothing voice and giving her a treat when we were done.  It was special bonding time and she loves it.

She wears a harness all the time, and taking it off means grooming time and putting it back on means we're done.  She'll crane her neck forward as soon as I pick up the harness.  If DH is home, when I put her down from the counter top, she immediately runs to him to be told how pretty she looks.

I've finished the first two chapters of Haunted Hotel: Eclipse Collector's Edition.    It's mostly light adventure with a few HO scens and mini games thrown in.  (2 HO's and 1 mini in first chapter,  1 HO and 2 mini's in 2nd chapter).

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I have finished Mystery of the Ancients: Three Guardians CE. I liked it vey much and the BC was very long. I got all the achievements

I´m still obsessed by World Mosaics Chroma. I´m on level 148 and  "must" get at least 2 stars on every level before I move on to the next. I think I did level 113 20 times! That is the hardest so far.

I remember that I liked Elixir very much

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I'm in the minority, then, I don't think I liked Elixir.
I un and reinstalled Fate's Carnival and my HO registered as finished.  Then I did another one and the same thing happened.  It seems to happen when I wait until last to get a special colored item so I will have to do those first from now on.  The Secret Room in the bonus is 3 HOs and 1 Super Puzzle puzzle for each character.,

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.
